My little Timcanpy 💕 He is made from a second hand Golden snitch kit I saw online and I love wooden puzzles, I have always jokes about turning that thing into our guy and I THOUGHT this would be easy and it was NOT! I thought I could make the horns and claws from the left over wood but no matter how I cut it, it would flake in half. It took me a very long time to find a replacement method bc most cardboard got too wet or wasn't thick enough but this worked very well. I also took a while bc I knew I had nowhere to put him so if he wasn't done I didn't have to think about it. He is actually really long and I have no idea where to permanently sit him still 😔 I made this space for new books here so this is temporary, he takes up the length that about 7 book spines would!! I think he'll have to be exiled to the shelf above my desk when that is up lol
