This is my first ever converted object! Yay 'hood deco! I wouldn't have been able to do it without @angelapleasant's help with texture mapping and milkshape wizardry. Thank you so much again for your patience and knowledge. Now your 'hoods can have a cool piece of historyyy! :-)

WURK Decor - WURK Cabinetry Addon with 50 Items

This took far longer then I expected, but that is decor items for you. I really wanted to finish off the workshop look from WURK Cabinetry with decor that would set the mood. That resulted in about 2 months of work on and off (since I was sick and was spending time with family). Now it is done, and in my opinion, services a part of the catalogue often overlooked so I hope it sees the same amount of love that was put in to make it reality. 

Hey everyone, here's another spicy experimental thingy from me. Emphasis: experimental. Please back up your saves! I haven't found any issues, but you should err on the safe side!

I'm resisting the urge to write this description as a winding story about why this thing exists and how so here's as quick a rundown as I can manage:

This is an ASI mod (like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter) that goes into your Bin folder and does its thing at runtime.

Depending on your setup, it might significantly speed up loading times from game launch to in-world. In one of my saves, it went down from over 18 minutes down to between 3 and 4.

It should also reduce memory usage (specifically, the 'virtual address space'--the real reason for Error 12 and memory-related crashes). How much depends on your setup, but it could be up to several hundred MB.

In-game stutters and especially multi-minute freezes (if you experience those) should be shorter and fewer overall. Not gone, but much more playable.

This mainly works on retail and Steam versions of the game. Many of the patches won't activate on EA App version. You can still use it, and might still reap some benefits, but the strongest patches aren't supported yet. It's in the pipeline, though, so stay tuned.

You need an ASI loader for the mod to load (like the wininet.dll from Ultimate ASI loader). If you use any other ASI mod, like Smooth Patch or Settings Setter, you likely already have it.

sims3fiend et al for Sims 3 Settings Setter. This mod started out as a "Settings Setter lite" for personal use because Setter proper added a little too much VAS for my bloated save's liking. But all the S3SS patches are removed from this release version. You can use them together freely if you want all the patches.

Vanity Table Make Over

TS2 tends to be praised for its detailed objects, however, TS2 vanity tables seem rather lackluster compared to TS4 vanity tables. Therefore, I decided to improve vanity tables a bit. :)

TS4 Make Up animations added to TS2 vanity tables

First part is a global mod that adds four TS4 adult animations and one TS4 child animation to vanity tables that your Sims will perform when changing their appearance with the use of a vanity table.

It comes in two versions - CHOOSE ONE:

Meduza_VanityTableMakeUp - standard version

Meduza_VanityTableMakeUp_PlantsimChangeHair - choose this version if you have Plantsims Can Change Hair Mod and make my mod load after Midge's

I also converted TS4 make up accessories - they are stored in one-OBJD mulitstate object (your objects limit likes that!): Meduza_TS4_MakeUp_ObjAcc, so you need to keep it. It's hidden from the buy catalog and its only purpose is appearing in Sims' hands while they are putting on make-up.

I also made changing appearance cancellable - if you cancel the action while your Sim is already sitting at a vanity table, they will perform TS4 animations, but you won't get the change appearance window. It might be useful for storytelling purposes. :)

There is one downside - the way changing other Sims' appearance at a vanity table works. The Sim who gives another Sim a makeover stands next to them and gives them lecture, so with this mod the Sim that is given a makeover does their make-up on their own while the other stands next to them and preaches. xD Maybe I'll try to alter this behaviour at some point, but converting animations has exhausted me.

As this mod also uses OFB powder cloud effect and powder puff, I recommend using this mod alongside @pforestsims' powder default.

2. More interactions with vanity tables

The second part is not a global mod, because every vanity tables has its own pie menu table. :(

I added new interactions to three in-game vanity tables (Uni, Seasons and Teen Style):

practice speech - I used @jacky93sims' function from their Professional Make Up Vanity Table

use zits cream (teens only)

Zits cream animation looks a bit wonky at times, but it was the best I could get.

Since this is not a global mod, it won't affect custom vanity tables - new interactions have to be added separately if you want them on other vanity tables.

I added new interactions to four custom vanity tables (included with upload):

One tile University, Seasons and Teen Style vanity tables by tbudgett

Queen Elize vanity table by Kate at Parsimonious

I changed their filenames to make edited versions easily distinguishable from originals.

You need to keep Meduza_VanityTableMoreInteractions_Required in your downloads for extra interactions to work, unless you have Meduza_VanityTableTS4MakeUp - then you can delete Meduza_VanityTableMoreInteractions_Required.

Change Wand From Inventory

I also made a mod that lets your spellcasters switch between the wands they have in their inventory without the need to use Midge's wand stands or click on a wand in live mode.

The action can be found under Witch…/Choose Wand…/ or Wizard…/Choose Wand…/.

Once you select the action, your Sim will show you the wand they will be using. Sometimes the wand is placed oddly in their hand, but I decided to live with it and move on.

@midgethetree's Pick Your Wand IS REQUIRED for this mod to work.

However, I recommend using this mod with my edit of Midge's Pick Your Wand as it includes Gryning's TS4 wands and my wandless magic.

Hello, The Sims lovers! Recently, you probably caught @morepopcorn update about the FAME PACK mod, which is going to bring back some cool features from the Sims Superstar EP (and not only!) 🤩

I can't express how excited I am to bring brand-new animations to these iconic objects and finally see them in action inside the game. I wanted to share a sneak peek of the WIP process with you! These clips come from the Recording Studio and showcase both the successful and failed versions of doing jingles and handling rejection.

I think neon lights are my favorite “I don’t have a single painting that’s right for this spot” decor. They look good everywhere!

And these lights by @theplumbobarchitect are going to look especially great on your Sims’ walls. There are 50 of them (but they have really tiny file sizes, I promise!) and they’re on DOT’s Neon Sports mesh, which is included.

Swatches are also included, and everything’s compressed.

Jenny and Lyla are best friends forever.

Two best friends in a small town, together they were unstoppable. Lyla's parents thought Jenny was a bad influence because she was just so cool, but they were both the same. Sometimes they were mistaken for each other.

a simple hat recolor conversion while i procrastinate on making hair previews. sixteen swatches, i didn't convert the rest because the textures didn't look good. mesh by @mdpthatsme required and included. as with most hats it clips with many hairs so be aware of that.

Lots of new retro electronics that fits quite nicely with the early 2000s Sims 2 content. Here are 6 items from the Cuckoo's Retro Vibes set. The console was a real challenge to convert, but I think I got it right 🎮 ✨

I have been publishing 4t2 hair conversions for a year now. A lot of uploads have already been created. Therefore I thought about making a bulk upload for those who want to download my cc faster. This bundle contains all hairstyles that I have published up to january 2022. (up to this post) I will post more packs as more hair comes together. NOTE: If I update an older hairstyle in the future, I will not be able to include it in the bundle. Many thanks to all the great ts4 cc creators without whom these conversions would not be possible. 🥰

The original servo, from the Sims 1 and Online, now returned as a plumbot. The green orb of the lower portion of the torso is partially transparent, and the head has two multipliers that affect the single eye. One makes it opaque, the other transparent. Two swatches for each. Requires into the future since it's a plumbot. Enjoy!
