Jumpers DO have venom, like almost all spiders. Only a couple small families do not have venom glands at all. Jumper venom is not medically significant for humans, though. And you’re right, they very rarely will bite unless forced to defensively, as you said. I’ve handled a ton of them (letting them crawl onto my hand freely) and have never been bitten. Still, unless you can identify a spider, I don’t recommend handling it.

The Swiss Valais Blacknose have been rubbing themselves against the red feeder while eating and it managed to dye their wool pink.
