what a soft moment. their rivalry is so glorified but people don’t talk about how good they were for each other, and how good they were to each other, in those last days.

and then when they met after that at a lunch thing? and the race was about to begin soon after but nobody could find senna because he was hanging out with prost? and then he asks prost to meet him at the garage?

Senninha was born in 1994 as a project of Ayrton himself, famous illustrators who worked with "Turma da Mônica" - the most well known series of childrens comic books in Brazil - and Ayrton's mother, Mrs. Neyde. Senna wanted to create charity projects for childrens education, so I imagine his first step was to make a character the kids could relate with.

They released a couple of issues of Senninha's magazine before Ayrton died, but ultimatly his dream of a charity and an educational character for kids had to be taken up by his family. It's quite sad to me he didn't get to see how impactful Senninha would turn out to be.

Senninha is still very dear to Brazilian children and even if they dont connect the tiny brunnete figure to the three times World Champion - yes there are children who don't know who he is but know Senninha! - they can still have lots of fun with the magazines, tv shows, online games and toys!

I myself knew of Senninha much earlier then I recognized who Senna was, and even played at a Senninha car at a shopping mall event once, so I hope this can show to people outside of Brazil how important Ayrton's character is and that he really exists outside of old photos and videos!
