THUNDER… THUNDER… THUUUUNDERCATS!

Long, long time since I started this. Maybe too much, but better late than ever! Finally I can share this project, based on one of the best animated series from the 80’s, the “Thundercats”. Lion-O, Tygra, Panthro and Cheetara, the thunderean heroes, in a 24 x 36 inches Fine Art Giclée poster.

Muchísimo tiempo desde que empecé esto. Quizá demasiado pero… ¡mejor tarde que nunca! Por fin puedo compartir este proyecto, basado en una de las mejores series animadas de los 80, “Thundercats”. Lion-O, Tygra, Panthro y Cheetara, los héroes thunderianos, en un póster Fine Art Giclée de 24 x 36 pulgadas (61 x 91,4 cm).

Of all the fanart I’ve seen of Panthro, I never see one with hair. In true 80’s fashion, I gave him a Mohawk/mullet situation that I think really suits him. Personally, I wish they didn’t make him that grayish blue and the large ears make him more bat-like than cat. (Lowkey, I always thought it was weird that he basically looks bald lol) I also gave him a crooked nose because there’s no way that he’s a marshal artist and hasn’t lost his fair share of fights.

Fun fact: Panthers are actually jaguars/ leopards with melanism!
