Shockwave is the Decepticons' resident mad scientist, always performing twisted, terrifying experiments on Autobots and creating weapons for the Decepticons to use. As long as he can stand a few of their idiocies. The thoroughly logic-minded cyclops of a soldier is perfectly capable of handling himself on the battlefield as well as a laboratory. He might seem like a loyal soldier, but as long as Megatron keeps blundering in leadership, Shockwave sees fit to play it logically... and seize leadership from the tyrant should he fall too far. He can tune in on enemy transmitter frequencies, locate their coordinates, then attack with pinpoint accuracy. He's like a walking Tomahawk missile, he just zeros in on enemy locations then blasts into battle with unstoppable firepower. He is also very dedicated to his G.I. Joe team members. He stays in constant radio contact with them to make sure no one gets lost behind enemy lines. Whether they're calling for assistance or asking for an airstrike, Dial-Tone delivers loud and clear.

Decepticon Buzzsaw - Function: Spy - Can fly at speeds of up to 250 miles per hour. Armed with two mortar cannons that can fire five rounds per minute; they are neither particularly powerful nor accurate. He possesses acute vision, which allows him to spot and focus on a thumbtack at up to 20 miles away. Also has a diamond-hard, micro-serrated beak. He uses this weapon with scalpel-like precision.
