I astral projected last night

with the Head Lift method

I recently stumbled upon this new astral projection method on reddit and, me.. who always had on and off difficulty in doing astral projection, decided to give the method a try. Result? I astral projected the same night of attempting it.

If anyone is interested in the method, just look up “Head Lift astral projection method” on reddit and you will find many posts about it and so many success stories along. So I recommend you give it a try if nothing worked for you or if you’re simply curious.

What I personally did is this.

Right before going to sleep, I put intention to stay completely still the moment I’d wake up during the night or in the early morning, then I simply went to sleep. No subliminals, no further methods, nothing.

After a few hours, there’s me waking up in the middle of the night and I immediately remember I should stay still, and that’s what I did. Then, I followed what the method explained, so I imagined to lift my head up to the ceiling as if there was a magnet above. Next thing I know: I’m out of my body.

Is it not enough that he’s one of the most photographed people in history to begin with?! Is it not enough that he was also one of the most beautiful souls to ever walk the Earth? Is it not enough that real, actual artists painstakingly recreate his image in a variety of mediums all the time out of love?

Apparently not, because computers now churn out soulless replicas of him for sport. I’m sorry, but I cannot remain silent about this.

I know a huge portion of the general public still doesn’t understand the larger implications of using AI. It’s viewed as a novelty, a ‘harmless’ little party trick fueled by social media trends. I’m pleading with everyone to educate themselves on this topic. Even if you don’t give a fuck about artists or the environment, how can you possibly in good conscience generate fake images of a man that you claim to love? When you’re gone, do you want strangers on the internet doing such things with your likeness without permission? Especially when there’s official legislation in Tennessee IN HIS NAME which seeks to protect musicians from the misuse of AI?

I get it- nobody ‘means’ any harm by it. None of what I’m seeing online is a legal offense, but it’s still really disheartening to think that it won’t be long before the number of fake images on the internet outweigh the real ones. Elvis has always been something of a polarizing figure. Imagine being a new fan and having your understanding of him tainted even further by an abundance of AI images.

I’m not trying to debate or attack anyone for their choices. If this comes across as harsh- it’s only because it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. This affects me and people I care about directly (as artists), but whether you realize it or not, the use of AI affects ALL of humanity. This is just meant as food for thought, because personally, I think Elvis deserves better. And I think it’s our job as fans to preserve the authenticity of his story.
