I wish I could forget you and all the pain you gave to me, because you didn't just break my heart, you destroyed the person I used to be.

Where do I put these love poems, after your knife stabbed my heart? They used to bloom like roses, but now they fall apart.

And I wish I could forget you, because you hurt more than you heal, now I'm left tending to a broken heart, wondering if any of it was real.

My heart is a wilted rose, once blooming bright and free, until you spoke unkindly words and stole the light from me. Now every petal falls apart, beneath the heartbreak you chose, and all that’s left of my wild heart, is a dying, fragile rose.

And how love is bittersweet; it can crush the heart, yet it can mend, but not every shattered piece finds its way back again.

I will not regret the love and heartbreak I poured into these poems for you, because every aching line I've written, was a part of my healing too.

And how is it possible for me to still love you, after all the hurt you put me through?

I met him at the edge of my ending, at my fragile dawn, and when life had returned, I lost him, now how do I hold on?
