This makes me want to write a whole series of my many OTPs fucking the building down.

Was taking a nap and literally dreamed up an idea for a an RPG game based around Toy Story:

Everyone plays as a toy character trying to traverse a human-sized obstacle course, like a kitchen or a park. The fun part is that the whole group physically goes to the room/location so they can SEE the obstacles, and they have to play out how they would get from spot to spot, factoring in their toy's height, weight, and traversability.

You'd have to pick your toy character ahead of time and list out its key features to figure out what skills and special traits it has. For example, soft toys take low fall damage, toys with fingers or gripping implements have an advantage to climbing, bouncy toys might get longer jumps, stuff like that.

"Enemies" could be things like fighting off squirrels or dogs outside and avoiding notice from humans. You could do insight checks to determine if an animal or human is a risk or a possible asset (for example, maybe that dog is friendly and you can ride on its back). Roll a stealth check to see if a human spots you, and if you fail, you have to collapse and can't move until the GM determines the human is no longer looking at you. If you REALLY fail, the human might pick you up and relocate you or start playing with you, and you're out for a few turns or have to orchestrate your escape!

A "healer" character is just a toy who carries a little backpack full of superglue and sewing supplies. XD

And on the Ember Island Players episode when Katara says that she was confused.

Maybe it's not just because she had started to slowly develop a little secret crush on Zuko. But its also because of what the fortune teller said. That's why Katara told Aang that she was confused.

And when Zuko took that lighting for her at the last Agni Kai. Those feelings that Katara slowly started to feel for him started to kind of Bud a little bit.

And maybe on the coronation day what if Katara was going to Zuko's room to check on his lightning scar. But Mai was there. And when Katara was looking through the crack of the door seeing those two together. Katara starts to have mixed emotions.

And so she chose Aang at the end because of that. (By the way I would have just have them hug in the end.)

But even so those relationships wouldn't last. Zuko's relationship with Mai didn't last.

And Aang and Katara relationship don't last ether because.

1) Aang didn't change much

2) Katara is always his anchor

3) Aang leaves a lot which is not good for somebody who has abandonment issues.

But even if Aang and Katara's relationship doesn't work out. They will stay as friends though. (Of course we all know that.) I feel like they might break up around 16 and 18 maybe.

Of course we all know why Mai and Zuko broke up. (Not to mention their relationship is kinda a on and off again kind of relationship.)

And maybe Katara can be on her own. She travels, maybe teachers the new generation of waterbenders, help rebuild her home and be an ambassador.

So at the age of 19 and 21 that's when Katara and Zuko come together.

1. The court holds Google responsible for statements made by its AI, considering them Google's statements (search engines have limited liability for results in their engine as they're the words of other sites/companies/people), meaning when their AI lies/hallucinates they're liable for the defamation/harm resulting from those statements.

2. Google's defense that customers are generally aware of the lack of reliability and are responsible for fact checking was dismissed. As the court pointed out, that would "significantly diminish" AI Search's stated purpose and it can't be distinguished from Google's business practices/statements as a search tool.

3. Studies have found about 91% of Google's everyday AI responses are accurate, leaving millions of searches per HOUR with potential liability for falsehoods. 56% of correct responses weren't supported by the sources the AI listed. Both of which mean Google is now liable for a LOT more AI "errors."

4. Google was held liable for 80% of court costs in this case and this precedent is expected to reverberate around the world. This is a massive shift from the 3rd-party search provider role Google has previously played and it comes right as they've tied ALL searches to their AI search.

For all the reasons above AND ALSO because this particular lawsuit is a defamation case

Privacy lawsuits are hard because most privacy laws are super super weak, and there's very rarely a lot of money or enforcement backing privacy laws for...twenty million reasons, really...

But defamation suits? Those have teeth.

(In large part because, at least in some countries and including in the US, defamation laws protect public figures the least - and "public figures" legally includes most if not all politicians, and a hell of a lot of other rich ppl too)

A German court has ruled that Google can be held directly liable for false claims made by its AI Overviews, a decision that could put a serious legal dent in the whole “the AI made me do it” defense. According to The Next Web, the Regional Court of Munich issued a temporary injunction after Google’s AI Overviews wrongly tied two Munich publishers to scams, subscription traps, and dubious business practices. The court treated those AI-generated summaries as Google’s own statements, not just ordinary search results pointing to third-party pages. That distinction matters. Search engines have traditionally had more protection because they index and link to other people’s content. AI Overviews changes the machinery. Google is not just showing the web anymore. It is summarizing it, rewriting it, and sometimes apparently hallucinating a tiny legal grenade into the results page.
