Rorschach ate hungrily and Dan felt justified in all his earlier assessments of the man’s eating habits. Sitting down opposite he joked, “I’m not going to take it off you ‘til you’re done you know.” As he ate his own share he watched, smiling at Rorschach’s enthusiasm. It didn’t manifest in a particularly appealing way, but Dan was too happy that Rorschach was alive and in his house to care that he was making a mess.
