Okay, so if we take the dialogue “You don’t know if we can revive ourselves!” from the finale as a taunt - that is, c!Dream and c!Punz can revive themselves - and combine it with the whole “person is revived where they were killed” fact, then we can get ourselves a super tragic, super cracky ability for c!Dream and c!Punz to be able to fast warp via suicide.
Let’s take it one step further and say that they can choose to revive at any spot they previously died. Now they can build an entire fast travel system around the server. And let’s face it: c!Dream is absolutely the type of utilitarian and self-dehumanising person that he would do it. Really and genuinely, he would do it. The convenience and edge it would give him is too much to resist.
Cue a very brutal, tragically and comedically ironic scene where someone not in-the-know walks in on c!Dream blatantly about to kill himself (like, knife at his neck with blood already spilt kinda thing) and tries to talk him down, wondering if everything that’s been going on is one man’s extended mental breakdown (hedging towards the truth, though of course there’s more at play than just c!Dream, but there is undeniably an element of truth there as well), all the while c!Dream just wants to set down a fast travel marker and is being uncomfortably confronted with how the way he treats himself looks from the outside.
