Realize you have anger issues? Work it out, don’t take it out in your partner. Realize you have trust issues? Work it out, don’t burden your partner with that. Realize you have insecurities? Work on your self esteem, don’t expect your partner to validate your existence.

This. Someone literally said to my face the other day that my grandma was the best grandma I could’ve asked for and she did so much and sacrifices so much for me and I was like…when? When she stole from Me? Had her husband beat me and my siblings up repeatedly? Or was it when she allowed me to get molested after I told her it was happening because the check she got from fostering was more important than my wellbeing? She bitches to people about my mom being a junkie(lies) and recently she’s started spreading her lies about me because we have the nerve to tell people how bad it is. One time she literally called the cops on me and my siblings, after her husband had beat on my sister, and when I tried to stop it slung me into the floor and punched me in the face, and the cops laughed at us! Because she knew them, and she had manipulated them into believing we were just being disrespectful kids. My mom has severe mental health issues because of the way she grew up with her, so she’s not really mother of the Year but she tries. My siblings all wanted to go back into my mom’s custody, but since my little brother and little sisters dad died, they get a check from the state every month. So my grandma fights tooth and nail to keep them, telling everyone my mom is on crack and this and that just so she can get a measly fucking 1500 from the state every month. My life is severely fucked up, and tbh it’s mostly because of her. I had mostly beat my depression and was going to college. But I was stranded up there alone and it took awhile for my student loans to kick in. My dad’s mom sent me a 1000 dollars to pay some of my tuition and buy my textbooks, but my grandma stole it from me. I didn’t have any money and passing 3/5 of my classes was dependent on the textbooks. I failed all three of those classes, dropped out of another, and managed to make a barely passing grade in an art class. Lost a scholarship, so the next semester they wanted me to pay my tuition before I went to the school, but I couldn’t do that. My student loans were only 3800 and I had to have 4500. Did they give me back my 1000 dollars? No. Her excuse? “We drove you up there once we used it for gas.” Right. And now I’m 19, and im pregnant and she has been buying baby stuff, and threatening to get me prosecuted somehow so she can raise my child and I have to pay her child support. I’m forced to stay with her because the house we were living in kept having stuff go wrong and after the pipes busted for the second time we moved back here. And me and my mom can find no houses to rent, and every time we do find one, she says oh that’s too far away, the kids won’t be able to come spend the night. And I know and my mom knows that she’s manipulating us but we can’t just leave them here with no where to go for safety. My mom can’t get a real job because my grandma told her if she did that she’d sue her for child support and my mom can’t pay that. So she’s stuck cleaning houses while I work at this stupid church to babysit kids but it’s not enough money.
