i love long hair shiv but short hair shiv will always be superior

i’m just going to rant about the costuming this past episode because omg. when shiv pulled up to the wedding, i was like why is she all in black? she looks like she’s dressed for a funeral. LITTLE DID I KNOW. but the costume design for this episode was brilliant. like all the kids in dark colours, almost for funeral, and even gerri’s outfit was like good for a funeral??? i don’t know but back to the kids. their outfits specifically sort of felt out of place at a wedding, where it’s a happy day and you theoretically should dress in colours. specifically shiv’s FELT INSANELY LIKE AN OUTFIT FOR A FUNERAL and i guess that foreshadowed what they’d go through in the episode.

This episode making people see the light and realize that Shiv is the youngest sibling. Earth is finally healing.
