• after hero goes back to the human world the members of paradise start to notice something

• there are holes in their memory

• they didn't completely lose their memories of hero

• but no matter how hard any of them try

• they can't remember what hero looked like

• and while they do remember everything hero said to them

• when they try to remember what hero actually sounded like everything they recall is muffled words and a void where hero should be

• and they're all slightly panicking because they can't remember anything about this one 'mon that changed all of their lives for the better

• and all of them are taking it kinda hard

• dunsparce is sobbing uncontrollably while emolga is attempting to comfort him while holding back his own tears

• virizion has become slightly more quick to anger, and keldeo is upset that one of the pokemon that helped save him and reunite him with his best friend is just......... gone

• umbreon and espeon are both trying to stay strong and help the others but are both barely holding it together

• gurdurr and the timburr bros. are all throwing themselves into their work so they don't have to think about the fact they forgot everything about someone who helped gurdurr get back into carpentry

• scraggy is trying to act cool but on the inside is at least a little upset

• quagsire is trying to help partner feel better so he can ignore his own feelings on the matter

• the rest of the post town 'mons aren't taking it well either

• the fact that they can't remember the name, face, or voice, of one of the pokemon that LITTERALLY SAVED THE WORLD has all of them a bit irked

• swanna offered partner a place to stay at the inn after partner said that their house "feels too empty" and is doing her best to help them

• and even victini seems a little less lively

• and munna and her friends are just about as upset about the fact that one of the pokemon that helped convince them that this world was worth living in despite the pain just dissapeared as if they NEVER EXISTED

• and out of all of them partner took it the hardest, at first they threw themselves into doing jobs so they wouldn't have time to think about it

• but slowly they start to burn themselves out, and the others do in-fact notice

• the pokemon that were recruited in dungeons start to take on jobs in place of partner so they can rest

• and once partner is actually comfortable with sleeping in their own bed again, they become sort of depressed, barely eating or talking to anyone

• but finally hydreigon notices that everybody is kinda under the weather because hero is gone and nobody except for him remembers anything about them

• so, he decides to do something about it

• *insert hydreigon telling everyone about the hill of universal order and everything to do with it here*

• partner is ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC about learning this and immediately wants to set out

• but once they get there and the wish is made, it seems to have completely failed

• hero isn't standing there in front of them and they still remember nothing about them

• but little did they know

• world induced amnesia is never immediately fixed

• and that humans tend to return to the pokemon world the same way they entered it in the first place

• meanwhile in post town, every one heard someone screaming from the sky and then a loud *thud*

• but by the time anyone can investigate, whatever made the noise was already gone

1. In Hollow Knight, Wyrms (like the Pale King) can see the future.

2. Whenever Hornet (or the Vessel) "dies," they are startled awake on a bench.

3. This "death" never happened, it was a premonition of what COULD happen, glimpsed when the player stopped to rest.

The problem is of course the cocoons and shades hornet and the knight leave on death, because, like… how would those get there??

I think another fun thing that could be wyrm foresight related is being able to see the completion percentage of your file in-game. It’s explicitly referenced as being able to see the state of the world in both games, and has a very distinctive look to it.
