I still like Secret Agent as competent hospital staff AND spy/investigater. They're focused, they're charismatic, they probably had some kind of medical background to at least be convincing—maybe even some kind of military medic or medical/emergency back-up for their agency—but ignoring their work work work mindset, outside of that they WILL inwardly giggle at the shittiest of jokes (and at intern's fuckass humor 💀💀💀), they WILL be petty as fuck outside of work, and they DO know how to turn off their brain.

Okay but what about the type of rock? The size of rocks? Pebbles, sand, bones, gems, dirt... how do you define what counts as a rock? Does the shape, color, or general characteristics of the rock make a difference to the compatibility to become a copy ability? Does a rock that looks a rock be more effective than a rock that os the color and shape of an apple? What about kirby's state? What happens if kirby is shrunk—would the amount (and other characteristics) of rocks needed to transform be directly proportional to his size? What happens if kirby consumes a rock with multiple properties, like a poisoned rock? Would Kirby's transformation be random, a decision, or be set to either poison or rock? Are there levels of transformation that could be acquired if even more rocks or 'higher quality' rocks were consumed, like Rock → Boulder/Gem → Mountain/Planet? Does Kirby's perception of a rock effect the transformation? Or do the rocks have an affinity, 'soul', or energy that leads to its copy ability?

When a character doesn’t realize they’ve been, like, shot or whatever and they hand brushes against their side and comes away wet with blood, and they’re just staring at it like wtf is this and then their knees just totally give out on them and they sink down, maybe gasping a little as the reality finally hits them. That’s good stuff.

I see that, and raise you a character who knows they’ve been shot, but waits until the rest of their crew is out of sight to put their hand against the slowly spreading stain of blood on their shirt, then trying to steady their breathing so they can follow without letting on how injured they are.

Okay but like the character who doesn’t realize they’ve been hurt trying to see if everyone else is okay only to slowly realize that everyone is looking at them with mounting horror. Then they touch their side to find it’s wet and oh no

Don't forget the good ol' character who is about to get shot so The Character prepares to get shot, closes their eyes then bam!.. they don't feel anything... and then they open their eyes and oops that's friend that just fell right into their arms

Magical Girl Anime where the magical girl has the angst and is put into Situations™, BUT the main character is the mascot who is trying so hard to be a support system for this poor, unfortunate child.
