i'm chill with pretty much any ship that isn't problematic lol,, but if i had to pick favs i'd probably say pixane, samurai, and i go thru phases of shipping and not shipping ones like glacier and opposite and stuff!!! (i also realised i have been utterly SLEEPING on jaya despite it being like the main ship of the show arguably... and techno is very lovely too when i'm in the mood for it,,,....)

i love my oc i love venn i would die for venn i'm so normal about him and she is NOT based of an ice emperor au he's completely original and casual and NOT!!! evil not at all 0% chance (he's just fighting against his will u guys i know he killed his best friend and then shattered his other friend's spine and almost impaled their brother but plsssss forgive him he was just being a bit silly☹️)

like imagine fighting for a hundred years and waiting for the love of your life to finally come back to you, and all of a sudden this random guy shows up with the same name, the same sword, and the same face as the one you've been waiting for , but its NOT HIM ??. and it like slowly sinks in that if this stranger is holding the sword that only the hero of legend can wield, then something must have happened to her link OUWHHHH IT HURTS OUCHHHH

i actually cannot wait to get to the other characters' perspectives of this,, like,,,

jay realising that he could have prevented something if he'd actually listened to zane when he was freaking out about his nightmare,,, kai's whole losing his fire (and probably feeling guilty about feeling bad for himself after he found out what was happening to zane, and how he could have ALSO prevented something if only he was stronger) AND LLOYD OH MY LORD !!, imagine how terrifying it would have been seeing the brother that was the gentlest soul he'd known, someone who smiled or laughed so rarely it was considered a treasure END UP LAUGHING MANIACALLY AT HIM AS HE TRIED TO KILL HIM ???

thinking ab zane and kai's friendship fr fr,

how zane admires kai's strengths (and knowledge about people) and expresses it explicitly (straight up asking what certain things mean or why people are doing what they're doing) and he's completely genuine about it. like theres no pity or condescending nature towards it, zane just believes that the others on the team know more about life and people than he does. but kai would take that to heart more than the others.

his parents left without telling him why, he wasn't a very good blacksmith leaving nya's heavy lifting to provide for the both of them, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't become the green ninja. he was even the last of the core four to discover his true potential. kai has never been used to genuine praise. kai probably never truly thought that he was the best at something, or better than someone else. but when zane (a literal prodigal nindroid with a heart of gold) asks him for help and holds him at such a high regard? that hits HARD.

and zane, this assumedly perfect nindroid, never seeming to understand how to get people to like him, or how to understand the meaning behind peoples' words, and kai just understands all of that so effortlessly. and instead of being jealous, he just genuinely thinks 'wow, this guy's so smart!' ???
