Non Dualism Basics + Manifestation (for people who want to be freed from limitations)

Non-dualism is the recognition that there is no separation between you and reality, awareness and experience. There is only awareness, appearing as all phenomena: thoughts, sensations, perceptions, what is called the external world.
The person you believe you are is not a fixed identity, it is merely a pattern of thoughts and memories experienced by awareness.
In non dualism, your true nature is consciousness or awareness. Everyone's true essence is consciousness, and it makes up everything you see: the ego, the physical world, the imagination, everything. This all exists because consciousness let it exist, meaning you, as the creator, expect it and allow it to be.
There is no authority higher than awareness, yet awareness is not a being. It is not human, not otherworldly, not a force, not a person. It is everything and it is nothing. The âpowerâ to shift, change, select is not owned, but it is simply the fact of identification. Whatever awareness identifies with, it materializes. Whatever is taken to be âI,â becomes experienced in the external.
You are simply awareness identifying/living as a human, which means you aware of a ego. An ego is simply the human you are aware of: their visual field, 5 senses, thoughts, emotions, feelings, all of it!
The ego is not an entity, it is the illusion of being a person, the thought âI am this.â It is simply a cluster of sensory data and thought appearing in the field. The sense of âmy senses,â âmy thoughts,â âmy experience,â arises only through misidentification. Drop that, and what remains is pure being: awareness itself.
Youâre not a human trying to reach awareness, you are awareness appearing as a human. The only limitation is believing you are the ego: the thoughts, the personality, the sense of being a separate self in a physical world. That belief filters your experience to match it.
The ego isnât the one manifesting anything. Itâs just the appearance of a character in the dream (the physical). Whatâs actually manifesting the dream is awareness itself. The moment something is fully accepted as true, it appears. Not because a person made it happen, but because identification shifted.
Everything is consciousness. Imagination and "real life/3d" are not different from each other, they are the same appearance, made of the same thing. When awareness identifies as the ego, the egoâs world plays out. When that identity drops, the experience shifts.
You don't become awareness, you just realize you never were anything else. Theres nothing to fix, nothing to get, because as awareness, you have everything already, you just need to decide/select it and it is done. There is no desiring when you already have it. You just refuse the old and accept the new.
Selection is not a doing, itâs simply no longer denying what is already true.
Ok but get to the burning question, how do I "manifest" something?
You donât. Not really, but hear me out.
You dont "manifest" as a person. Whatâs called âmanifestationâ is just awareness identifying with a new version of reality.
Because all possibilities already exist in awareness, nothing needs to be created. Youâre not making something happen, youâre dropping the identity that says it is not already so.
What you are being = what you are claiming as âI am.â
Not what you say.
Not what you visualize.
Not what you feel.
Only what you be.
There is no gap between desirer and desired, as both arise within awareness. The âthingâ and the âone who wants itâ are the same illusion.
Drop the self who wants the thing â
The thing appears because there is no one left to need it.
You canât lack anything if you are the source of all of it. Lack only appears when you think youâre a separate self (ego) who has to get. If that identity isnât claimed, neither is the feeling of want or desire or need.
From non-duality, thereâs no âmanifestingâ something outside of you, because nothing is outside. Thereâs just awareness appearing as whatever is identified with. Thatâs it.
Itâs not about making it happen. Itâs about not identifying as the one who lacks.
So:
Drop the story of âI want it.â Ignore the ego, do not claim its thoughts or feelings or external world as yours.
Be the version where itâs normal, obvious, already here. Decide what it is the ego "wants" and claim it to be true now. Identify as the ego (person) who has it, rather than the ego who doesn't. As awareness, both those identities hold equal weight, so pick the one that suits you best.
Donât wait for it. Thereâs no waiting in being. If youâre waiting, youâre still wanting.
Thatâs literally it. "Manifestation" is not doing. Itâs being.
But how do I become a new identity???
Identity is not built. Itâs selected. You donât need to feel like it nor think like it. You only need to know: This is who I am now. And you refuse to claim anything else.
Think about it like choosing clothes, you dont need to "become" a new outfit. you put it on. done. no waiting, no steps, no convincing.
You are awareness, you can be anything and have anything. So select it and in that moment, it is DONE, it is now your truth. Stand firm in that decision and ignore anything against it.
Wait Evangeline...but what about thoughts or affirmations??? Arent they what manifests???
If you are coming from a loa perspective, this might be what you are thinking.
Well its not the thought or affirmation themselves, it is the stance behind it. They don't create reality, the identification does.
If you identify as the version who has it, the experience reflects that. If you identify as someone trying to get it, then trying is what shows up.
Think of it like this:
When you open a door, you donât have to affirm âI open the doorâ over and over. You just open it, because you know you can. You already identify as someone who opens doors. Itâs natural.
Affirmations can help if they express whatâs already true for you. But if youâre using them to convince yourself, then youâre still not being it, youâre still trying. I find that affirmations are often not necessary, as if you know you are something, you don't need convincing. The only thing that needs convincing is the old ego, but you aren't that anymore so ignore it.
Like, if you have a car, you donât affirm it 10k times daily to keep it. You just know itâs yours. You are the version who has a car. Thatâs the only reason it's there.
Same with anything else. You have it when you're not trying to get it. You are it when thereâs nothing left to prove.
Doubts from the ego donât matter. Ego doesnât choose. Ego has no part in what is identified with, nor what is "manifested." Awareness does. The one watching the doubt (awareness) isnât doubting. Ignore the ego, don't claim its thoughts and doubts as you. It is not the real you, you are the observer.
Now for the big guy in question... the 3d:
The "3d" is not real in itself, it is simply a mirror of identity. The external world is not separate from you. It is a reflection of identity, projected through awareness. It appears âoutside,â but it is arising within consciousness, just like imagination. The 3d does not exist independent of awareness.
You don't change it by pushing on it or screaming at it, you change it by dropping identification with what it reflects.
The "3d" is not a cause, not a source, and definitely not a judge. It is a reflection of what's being identified with (not what's being thought, affirmed, or forced by the ego).
There is no need to worry about the external because:
It is you projected as form, it is not separate from you
The "3d" is not the source, it has no authority to determine what is real. You do.
It has no power, so it cant show anything that isn't being projected by you as the creator.
It always has to mirror who you are being, it has no choice
No need to worry. The 3D follows you. Always. Because it is you.
If itâs showing something unwanted, itâs because identity hasnât shifted yet. Thatâs all. But do not get caught up in this, as time is not real to infinite awareness. Choose to stop observing the "3d" of the old ego, choose to stop giving it attention, and it will cease to exist.
If you get doubts from the ego, ignore them, remind yourself that it is "not me" and "not mine." You are the observer, the one who has everything, so don't pay attention to the ego with lack. It is not you anymore.
Be indifferent to the old ego's "3d," be indifferent to its lack. If you see it still, just observe, and know it is not yours.
Do not think this means you have to abandon the old ego's life if you still "see" it. You can still do things in the old 3d without identifying with it or claiming it. Simply know it is no longer you.
How to know you are the new identity:
You no longer ask "Am I doing it right." You no long chase proof and you no longer entertain the old storyline. You stand in: "This is what I am. Nothing else matters.â
It is not about effort, it is simply refusal + knowing + indifference to all else.

Even after reading all of @salemlunaa 's nondualism posts and asks, I'm still as confused as ever. She's the best ND/Loa blogger (imo) out there and I still don't get it. "You are one perception away from everything materialising". And I really do not know how to step into the perception of God. Even so, I still get confused. Yes, I do know that I'm pure consciousness but no matter how many times I try to break the illusion, it just stays the same. God I hate neuro divergence sm.
I can't take it anymore I'm falling apart now I don't even know how to tell you but tomorrow something is going to happen that will decide my fate and it's the worst and I don't know how to ignore it I also know that 3D is just an illusion and it's not real and time isn't real either but as soon as I remember tomorrow everything falls apart plus everyone reminds me of it too I've been trying to enter the void and change everything but it hasn't worked I've been trying all the time I know you'll tell me that I shouldn't rely on what I see and that manifestation is instant and I should give in and make the decision but I know all this because something happened 3 months ago when I was reading one of your posts and I suddenly realized that everything is my imagination and it's my only reality after I realized that I felt happy and safe I don't know what happened but all my doubts disappeared and I told myself that I don't need the void and I don't need to manifest everything is already there and I own it I don't need it to exist in 3D and it was around 11 pm so I went to sleep I didn't set an intention or anything and I wasn't planning anything but when I went to sleep I woke up in the void and it was amazing but I focused on my symptoms I was excited Because I realized it was the easiest ever, but when I woke up, I felt frustrated because I focused on my symptoms and the doubts returned after I woke up. But I also realized that manifestation is instantaneous and that imagination is my only reality and that once I surrender and realize I own it, nothing matters anymore and I don't even need a decision because it's all inside me. But I tried to reclaim this, but it didn't work, even though I know all that, and I've been trying ever since. I tried to ignore my circumstances, but it's hard because today is my last chance and I can't ignore it because I've been trying to change this for months, but it hasn't worked. I know the power is within me and only I can change this. But it's no use. I'm asking for help. What should I do? I'm crying my eyes out as I write this. I have no one to complain to or tell how bad my condition is. I lied to everyone and told them everything would be fine, but they'll find out the truth tomorrow. I'm really scared. first of all iâm so so sorry you feel this way, and i hope you feel better as you are reading this.
I know what thatâs like, i donât talk about my old story as much but before i manifest everything i had all the odds against me so i know what it feels like to have your back against the wall. But what made me get out of the situation was realising the wall was not real, and even the body that was up against it was not.
You keep wavering, and thatâs the problem, and i know that this is so frustrating to hear. But itâs the truth. Reality is 100% mental, there is nothing but you here, you are the one keeping this life, because you choose to be aware of it. I would just say go within, but thatâs easier said than done.
You say you believe in time, but youâre telling me you didnât induce the void state. How do you know that? itâs because youâre referencing the past, that which does not exist. You have this story for yourself, and you are so powerful that you have created this story on the fly every single moment.
That you:
Try and induce the void and it doesnât work
You have this really dire circumstance that will ruin you (which you talk about as if itâs inevitable)
Everyone keeps going on about it
Let go of that story, you are not the body and these things or not happening to you. If you were able to step into the POV of god you would lack nothing and your âdesiresâ would come to you in a matter of seconds, even seconds is too long actually.
Imagine what you want to experience. congrats itâs done. The only reason you are not seeing it is your deep belief that this ârealityâ is real, that itâs solid, some way somehow you still view what you want to attain as some dream.
It is not dream vs reality

you are dreaming up these circumstances as week speak
You are dreaming those tears,
All you must do is observe the new dream. And donât contradict yourself. Perception controls reality, change your perception and you change reality. If you were to perceive yourself as god holding views such as: your orders are instantaneous, nothing can contradict you, and that this is all your creation by the mind,
Then you would be able to have anything, actually you would realise that you already ARE everything therefore you cannot lack, and it would all materialise.
Infact, you must realise that you are already looking at life in the POV of a god, and your pov is the only one that exists.
Change who you are identifying as, you are not the body with things happening to you. You are a creator, consciousness and things are happening through you.
You need to collapse the duality between 3D and 4D, there is no 3D vs 4D it is all just the mind. there is no difference between the image and the mirror reflecting the image. When the image moves the reflection moves to match instantly. Change the Image. And you know how to do that because the Image is you.
And immediately drop the assumption that changing thoughts take time and saturation, those two concepts are illusionistic. Imagined it? Cool itâs yours. Thereâs no wait for catch up, it has caught up.
I say this to so many but once you realise that you are beating some sort of clock or racing against time, is when the dream comes crashing down and you are now able to control it. You donât have to do Anything, realise itâs already done. Donât rely on your senses and drop the idea of the â3Dâ Know the outcome you wish to experience is a reality now without any blockages.
Please breathe, my lovely and realise you are afraid of your own imagination. Release yourself. Relax the mind.

i am not a buddhist nor a Hindu myself. I am a practicing Orthodox Christian. But when it comes to searching for shifting /loa /manifesting /spiritualism? i'll take whatever i can find. Now look, these ancient teachings don't have a magic wand that says "lets just jump in there" ,but they do have a pretty powerful "shortcuts" that will instantly plunge the mind into that void. Specifically, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, the esoteric branch of Hinduism, offers 112 different methods for instantly stopping the mind and pushing it into that void.
First of all, ''the space between two breathes'' (Kumbhaka) In buddhism and hinduism, the greatest secret is that microscopic moment when one breath ends but another doesn't begin. That moment is when you disconnect from this world. And yeah it has an easy way.. breathe in, breathe out. Stop at the exact second u exhale. Focus on the silence that occurs when your lungs are empty. That void is actually your shifting gateway. The longer you prolong those seconds, the more your physical body begins to fade away. And oh, also, be careful and start SLOW. Cause If u do it incorrectly or forcefully, you may experience dizziness, stress, or even fainting...
Second thing ive found is.. "Neither this nor that" (Advaita Vedanta) That is the fastest way to eliminate the mind (the logical left lobe of ur brain). In shifting, every time you say, "i am this, i am here," you are anchored to that reality. Lie down in bed and say to everything that crosses your mind that; Is your body tingling? "nope that's not me." or did you hear a sound? "that's not me." did a thought come to ur mind? "that's not me." Basically reject everything until nothing remains. That remaining pure "awareness" is the void itself... What remains? According to Vedanta, the unchanging, observing pure awareness. That is, the inner, "observing thing." They call it Atman, and surprisingly, it is said to be the same as Brahman. So, individual self = universal reality. Non duality? it's easy to understand, but quite difficult to live with. cause the mind is constantly addicted to labeling itself, saying "this is who i am, this is what i am." it's like stripping the mind bare, leaving it completely exposed. You shed layers upon layers. And the human ego doesn't exactly love that, mind you...
Now ''Dharana'', think of the discipline of The Hierophant card. Instead of dividin the mind into a thousand pieces, confining it to a single point allows reality to break...Close your eyes and focus only on that point between your eyebrows,aka the 3rd eye, or just a single white spot in your mind. Think of nothing else. After a while, the mind will give a "system error" and throw you back into that single point, into the void. Dharana, in yoga, means concentration. But not at the level of "alrigh i put my phone down and focused for 5 minutes." It means literally fixing your mind on a single object. Thr rule is lowkey simple.. If the mind wanders, u bring it back. If it wanders again, you bring it back again. ''Dharana'' focus, ''Dhyana'' uninterrupted flow, meditation; ''Samadhi'' complete union, dissolution of the sense of "self"....
The easiest way to do this is actually to "stop searching." Theres a saying in buddhism that "as long as you keep searching, you won't find, because the seeker is what she seeks." You think shifting is about going somewhere "out there," but these teachings say, "Youre already everywhere, you just choose to focus on this body." Stop "trying to go." Try relinquishing this reality as if you were already there. By releasing the energy of the 4 Pentacles aka the holding on energy, and 9 Wands, in your cards, and simply "being" like The Sun, that door will open by itself.
Let's talk about how to let go of the ego & realise self
There is nothing to fix. There is nothing to become. There is only something to stop believing.
You think you are a person, and that is the only âproblem.â You believe âI am this body,â âI am this name,â âI have this past,â âI am living in a world.â None of these are questioned, and that is why they feel real.
The ego is not something you destroy; it is something you stop identifying with. You donât âkillâ it, you simply stop saying âthis is me.â
Start here: stop thinking you are the person. Not physically, but mentally. The moment a thought appears like âI need this,â âI am like this,â or âthis is happening to me,â see it. Donât follow it, donât fight itâjust donât claim it.
If you can observe a thought, it is not you. Itâs that simple.
Let thoughts come and let them pass. Indifference is key. Not suppression, not controlâjust a lack of interest. You donât need to convince yourself that the world is unreal; just stop insisting that it is real. Stop giving it importance.
Throughout the day, remind yourself that this is a dream, and it doesnât have to be yours. Detach from the character. Let life play out, but stop narrating it as âmy life.â
Watch your reactions, your emotions, your patternsânot to change them, but to see that they are not you. The more you observe, the weaker the identification becomes. The less you identify, the more freedom appears.
You are not your past; you are aware of the past. You are not your body; you are aware of the body. You are not your mind; you are aware of the mind. So what are you? Stay with that, without answering, without defining.
Let go of every label. Every time you say âI am this,â pause, drop it, and return to just âI am.â No story, no identity, no role.
At first, thoughts will continue. Memories will come, emotions will rise. Let them. They are habits. Donât engage, donât resistâjust donât become them.
Step by step, doubt what you call reality, become indifferent to it, stop reacting to it, and watch it lose its solidity. Nothing needs to disappear; only your attachment to it.
As identification drops, thoughts slow down, reactions weaken, and the sense of âmeâ fades. What remains is silence, awareness, and being.
No effort is needed to be what you are. Only effort was needed to pretend you were something else. You are not losing anything real , only the illusion of being limited.
Let go. Not by force, but by not holding on. Thatâs it. Let go of the ego, and what remains is freedom; from there, you can be or choose anything.

A collection of hacks/techniques/ methods/ whatever you wanna call it to let the body fall asleep while you stay aware. Iâve built this over the past year of shifting to different realities and learning how to control what my awareness experiences. They also work super well for lucid dreaming, the void state, astral projection, sleep paralysis, deep meditationâbasically anything that requires consciousness without a body. There are probably better ones online, but these are the ones that worked for me.
Iâll probably expand on specific ones in this list in the future, but for now I just want them all compiled into a list. Once your physical form and surroundings dissolve, awareness has nothing to cling to. Whatâs left is blank and perfect as an open canvas for whatever you want to project onto your awareness :)
1. Counting
The most basic no-brainer. Iâm only adding this here because I recently discovered a little hack to stop yourself from drifting off and losing track of the numbers. What helps is to hold the next ten in your mind as the entire goal. For example, if youâre at 23, focus on reaching 30 and even visualize it in your mind if you can. It keeps the mind just active enough to stay engaged while the body falls asleep.
2. Working with your eyes
Too many ways to do this. Focusing on the black behind your eyelids and directing all your focus and attention to it until it feels infinite is a great one. Gently moving your eyes up, down, left, right when they start to slacken (your eyes slacking, getting comfortable, or zoning out is your cue: body wants sleep). Doing fake blinks is another great one (doing the blinking motions with them closed, causing them to twitch). Thereâs also keeping them half-open or even fully open in the darkâopening and closing them periodically every time you feel yourself start to fade. Fun fact: if you keep staring at the darkness long enough, that darkness starts to move back :)
3. Moving your head...moving any limb actually
This oneâs weird but gold. I came across it recently and tried it again to see if it was a set-in-stone thing. Turns out it is. You wake up in the middle of the night when youâre tired as hell and barely awakeâ then you lightly roll your head side to side, not really moving your neck but more like rocking your head on the pillow. Idk what this can do for you, but for me it triggers that slide-to-the-side feeling people talk about in astral projection, like your consciousness slipping sideways out of your skull. Iâve also had astral projection/lucid dream entries in the past where Iâve lightly moved my foot during WBTB, and that also triggered something....so,, itâ,s effective.
4. Committing to a single position in bed
Whether youâre on your back, side, whateverâpick one and refuse to move. Donât roll over, donât try to find comfort. If youâre like me and instantly fall asleep after adjusting once, this oneâs a godsend. Staying locked in one position, especially when youâre a little uncomfortable, lets the body give up faster. It drifts off while your mind keeps running in the background, perfectly awake, because youâre uncomfortable as hell.
5. Treating hypnagogia as a signpost
UNDERRATED. You know when you feel all the symptoms, like your body floating, hearing shit, feeling tilted, seeing weird shapes or visuals behind your eyes? Thatâs already your bodyâs natural, normal way of saying âhey, Iâm falling tf asleep.â Itâs free, comes with the system built in. The issue is people treat the symptoms as âI have to shift/AP/etc NOW because this is my only chance,â and then when they fade, you get mad because it didnât work, and you roll over and go to sleep. Yeah, thatâs like mining and reaching diamonds, but because the diamonds arenât already cut into the shape of a star, you throw them out. Iâd love to rip a hole through time, reach back and grab past-me who used to give up after hypnagogia symptoms faded, and slap her, because IF MY GOAL WAS MIND AWAKE/BODY ASLEEP, AND I REACHED THE SIGN THAT SAID âHEY CLO YOUR BODY IS FALLING ASLEEP WHILE YOUR MIND IS AWAKEââ WHY. TF. DIDNâT I JUST KEEP GOING?
6. Setting alarms every hour of the night
Okay listen, this one is chaotic but genius. If your main problem is knocking out too fast, this hell-bent hack makes sure you donât. Set alarms for every hour of the night. Yes, every hour. You run the real risk of not getting a wink of sleep, but if youâve ever tried WBTB and been struck by +100 instant sleep, this is the way. I tested it recently: drifted off once, alarm woke me up, but then because I knew another alarm was coming, I couldnât fully fall back asleep. So I just lied there, mind running, body done for and needing sleep. By the next alarm cycle, my body was desperate to sleep but my mind refused because it was completely alert, waitingâso I fell straight into the void just by existing.
7. Saying âfuck it, Iâm not going to sleepâ and committing to it
This one works too well, lol. Basically, you mentally commit to full-on sleep deprivation and genuinely accept that your goal is to not fall asleep at allâto stay awake the entire night. Forget about shifting, astral projection, void, whatever. Just decide youâre not sleeping. And your body goes âI think tf not,â and promptly knocks itself out while your mind stays awake. Best done during WBTB, imo.
8. Music
Ridiculously good for MABA because you can reach hypnagogia with it so easily. You donât even have to do anything, just listen to whatever song you wantâ but itâd be great if the song reminds you of your end-goal (shifting, the void, w/e). You can be deep in thought, zoning out and daydreaming to the song, when suddenly you feel hypnagogia symptoms and/or straight up falling into an altered state. Also, donât worry about the actual sound; your awareness adjusts, and the music fades naturally as your perception shifts.
9. REM rebound
Beloved REM rebound <3 Sleep deprivationâs golden child. You stay awake way past your normal bedtime until youâve only got around 2â3 hours left before you have to get up. By then, your brain is starving for REM sleep. When you finally lie down, your body plummets straight into REM almost instantly instead of cycling through the usual sleep stages. And because your mind is so primed for dreaming, this is a perfect time to induce MABA.
10. Lying still and not moving
But not in the 2020 shifttok âif you move you failedâ way. Lying still is golden, especially when itâs WBTB and you wake up almost falling asleep. But you can move. The world wonât end if you do. I learned that focusing on making your body fall asleep >> making your mind stay awake. What slips me into MABA is waking up during some fuck-ass hour for WBTB, when my eyes feel all scratchy and want to close (you know that feeling when theyâll barely even open?). Then I just lie really still, but the point is to get comfortable and watch the body. Youâll literally feel it go numb as it falls asleep. After that, the surroundings start to fade, weird sensations start happening, you might feel pressure, sinking, floating, vibrationsâor nothing at all, and then out of nowhere youâre in an altered state.
11. Trying to sleep with light in the room
You can go full overhead light if youâre brave, but personally Iâve had the weirdest results using my phone flashlight face up on the pillow beside me. It keeps the room dim enough for comfort, but bright enough for discomfort. If youâve got fairy lights, those work great too! (Iâd try mine, but I have an irrational fear theyâll catch fire) Anyway, just lie there and try to sleep with the light on. I always end up getting all the hypnagogic symptoms with the mind wanting to sleep but getting confused by the light. Usually I drift off and wake up a few times because of it, but I keep refusing to give in. Eventually, the mind says âfuck itâ and stays awake while the body says âfuck itâ and goes to sleep.
12. Listening to affirmations while you sleep
Iâll link the two Alunir affirmation videos Iâve actually shifted with (here) and (here). Basically, Iâd either fall asleep with them on or use them after WBTB. The only problem was that I hated them at first, because theyâd keep me awake and uncomfortable. But every single time I slept with them on, Iâd start hearing affirmations inside my dream, then wake up in the dream, fall into an altered state, OR Iâd wake up hypnopompic and the affirmations were like anchors that plunged me into a lucid dream or the void.
13. Physical anchors
Look, Iâm not condoning this one, but Iâm being honest. There are tons of physical anchors that work if you stay awake easilyâ like sleeping in too many layers, putting a marble in your sock, not using a pillow, falling asleep with something heavy on you like a book, or sleeping too hot or too cold. Those all can work, and thereâs probably more. I, unfortunately, can sleep through anything, so most of them did nothing for me.....all except for one.
I fell asleep with a clothespin on my finger (yes, the wise among us are already going âoh noâ). It kept me awake for a bit, I got all the symptoms, but eventually I did fall asleep. Three hours later I woke up to find my finger completely drained of blood. I unclipped the pin, lied there half-asleep, half-freaking-out, trying to get circulation back while thinking âfuck fuck fuck fuckâ and SOMEHOW, that mix of adrenaline and exhaustion slipped me right into an altered state. I actually shifted that night.
âWow Clover, the things you did to try to shift early on were crazy.â Friend this was two months ago. Iâm a dumbass. Part of the fun of shifting for me is finding new ways to do it. Anyway, do I recommend this? Absolutely not. What I do recommend is finding a physical anchor thatâs safe and sustainable for you. Theyâre annoyingly effective. Just...seriously....donât try the clothespin thing and then come blaming me for any disasters. âOh I lost a finger because this strange girl on the internet told me I could shift realities this wayâ this is not a conversation I want to have with CNN.
14. Use the reticular activating system
The reticular activating system is the part of your brain that keeps track of your surroundings even while you sleep. It filters through sounds, touch, light, even emotional significance, and flags what might be important enough to wake you up or keep you half-awake. So when you put something under your pillow (like a notebook, a coin, a note, any object) your RAS says âhuh thatâs different.â It keeps awareness running even while the rest of your body falls asleep. Itâs the same reason you can sleep through one thing but instantly wake up because of another.
To use this, put something your awareness canât ignore under your pillow. I put my (annoying, thick) shifting notebook there, and it automatically made me think about it even half-asleep. Iâve hit MABA twice this week from that alone. But it could be anything, like a random spoon, a coin, a piece of jewelry, a note with something written on it, ....or even your phone, turned on, maybe with the flashlight (help is that a fire hazard?). The key is that your RAS keeps pinging that object in the background.
15. Pavlov yourself with a song
I swear by this one but I never really talk about it because it sounds a little insane until you try it. Basically, loop one song all day nonstop. Same song over and over while you go about your day, until your brain gets sick of it but itâs still playing in your head anyway. Youâre basically conditioning yourself so by the time night hits, the song is burned into your skull. So when you lie down and start drifting off, it keeps auto-playing in your head without effort, like your brain canât let it go. And because youâre mentally singing or hearing it on repeat, your mind stays just active enough to avoid shutting down with your body. The most recent one for me was with Misery Business , I listened to it the entire day because I get hyper-fixated on songs that give me DR memories, the emotions, all of it. I had it on repeat for hours,, then when I went to bed (at like 3 am lmao), I was still hearing it in my head. That automatic loop pulled me straight into MABA, and from there I actually managed to shift back to my main DR.
Pointers (in my opinion)
For people who fall asleep easily: your mission is to make the sleep setup hostile, not ideal, just enough that your body craves sleep but your mind keeps screaming âAHHHH.â
For people who donât fall asleep easily: focus on comfort and commitment to resting, but not sleeping. Insomnia can actually be your secret weapon if youâre stubborn enough to choose sleep deprivation over not (insert desire).
For some god-forsaken reason, not caring about the outcome and being open to failure is highly effective. If you approach things with âeh, fuck it, Iâm okay with failureâ, youâre not forcing your awareness to perform a life-or-death coin tossâ where if you get heads instead of tails, the little tricycle puppet from SAW will appear to collect your soul. Youâre allowing the possibility of letting the coin roll under the couch, because for all you know, there could be a pot of gold under there.
Will any of these guarantee anything? Letâs be real, the path to failure is paved with ignorance. Your road will stay foggy if you keep putting blind faith in methods instead of yourself. Thinking something outside of you will get you to your destination is a hamster wheelâ and not a fun one. Donât be a passenger complaining about the route while the self-driving Tesla drives you straight into a lake.
The way Iâve been shifting/ lucid dreaming/ even accidentally reaching the void lately isnât by doing a specific method. I honestly just have the intention to shift, then lie down with âwhatever tf happens is part of me shiftingâ so I treat everything as such. Everything I listed here are just things that happened to come up in the moment, or experiments I ran out of curiosity. The best course of action to take is ALWAYS, always to not put pressure on yourself. Unless youâre shifting to be a helium balloon, you donât need pressure.

Here it is you guys, this is going to be the clearest and most simple explanation Iâve done so far of manifestation and your identity as conciousness and what that means for experience & the world unfolding. Donât worry if youâre new to this, this will help!

So around 7 years ago I started stepping into the world of what people typically call manifestation. I went down the rabbit hole of Subliminals, Law of Attraction, Law of assumption, NonDuality and finally to where I am now, the unlabeled.
I want to preface by saying, I have been through an unimaginable amount of turmoil, and growth while on my journey to understanding reality and the way the world appears.
Iâve spent all of my time from back to when I first found out about this side of reality, to today while Iâm writing this post, constantly looking at a multiplicity of teachings and teachers to figure it out, except until the very end. I really want you to know this because itâs very important to not brush this off as if itâs not possible for you, as if you have to adapt a technique or secret. This isnât something thatâs to be exhausting. With that being said, letâs move forward.
We all want things, we all have ideas of a life we hope to live, we want to fill it with all the experiences and specific details that match our taste. But this is actually, where the problem begins.
The way manifestation is taught is inherently wrong, Iâve fully stopped watching and consuming content that has anything to do with manifesting all together, because no matter what it is, Law of assumption, Law of attraction, all of the other ideologies that promise your desires, they all have a fundamental flaw, identity.
They usually all entail a similarity: methods, techniques, specific things you can do and ways you can act to make an outcome happen. All the while throwing in a random âbecause youâre the god of your realityâ. And instead of focusing on the phrases that relate to the center of all of it, YOU, itâs simply just brushed past.
And not just the typical âyour sourceâ, âyour operant powerâ, âyou are the manifestation,
We get it but wtf does that actually mean, and why should you care??? Well, letâs get into this, because once you start from point A, everything else makes sense.
What all these teachings of the world get wrong is the idea that you can want things and desire, as source. Fundamentally this is a paradox, you canât exist in desire and want if you are the source of reality. Itâs not to say you arenât, but itâs to say, you donât ACTUALLY want and desire, but the illusion of being separate from the world is what makes you want and desire.
Letâs break the illusion.
Ask yourself this for me. âAm I awareâ.
The answer will always be yes. Undeniably. And no matter how many times you repeat this, the answer is always yes, no matter a feeling, no matter a pleasant or unpleasant experience in the world, no matter any circumstance, you will always say yes.
Why is this so important to explore?
Because you are able to see from direct experience what source is.
When you asked yourself that question, did you notice something weird that happened? Itâs almost like everything paused for a split second and your attention went somewhere to find the answer, and a response came from there. Look closer, ask yourself the question again, and this time try to find where the answer is coming from.
Youâll find that it comes out of nowhere, and if you try to trace it as far back as you can, to even before you answer yes, there this empty space of knowing that the answer conjures in.
This is consciousness. This is you.
Whether you name it consciousness/awarness or knowing, it doesnât matter, itâs all interchangeable. But the important thing to note is, this thing doesnât ever go anywhere. That is your true identity, the starting point of all ideas, the starting point to anything that can possibly be known. Every decision is from here, every expression comes from here, everything leads back to knowing. When there is emotion, it is known, when there is idea, it is known.
You being able to know that you are aware comes from this. This is the unseeable, the thing that canât be perceived in any way, this is origin, its source, and its you. Take a shot at it, try to see what knowing looks like, its weight, its shape, its color, its dimensions, what its favorite color is, what it doesnât like or does like. Youâll be left with nothing, as in no descriptions, but definitely knowing that there is a presence there that never goes away. Now try finding its name, its age, its skin color, its voice. You cant, and yet, from this very nothingness comes your undeniable answer that you exist and you are aware of your existence.
You donât need and feelings to know, you dont need sight, sound, and sense of perception, you donât even need to acknowledge the body in any way, but you know you âareâ.
At some point when there were no worlds and universes, there was an unseeable, dimensionless plane from what everything came from, does this sound familiar? Before there were things, there was no-thing, a presence yes, but no objects. And from this, reality was expressed, but source canât go away, the fundamental key to everything there is today, has to remain, or else everything else would not exist.
Concouisness is what you are. And it IS the origin.
Now how tf do you live you dream life???
By understanding that the world is also just an expression of source, conciousness/you.
I need you to understand something that I thing we can all agree on, if everything has one source, it would only make sense for everything to be the extension of that thing that gives it life. The world is no different, and trust me I know this without a reasonable doubt. Iâve spent closer to a decade trying to figure this out. Everything exists in/on the field of consciousness/you.
I need you to trust me, because no matter how far you have been in your journey and how tiring it might have been like it was for me, I promise you, this is worth it all.
Step away from the ideas of wanting and needing, put on your neutrality glasses and perceive the world as 2 simple things, conciousness and conscious expression. These are the only 2 things that drive experience itself.
Understanding that you are source, more things become clear. Where do all the stories of all the unfavorable problems in your life activate from? Where does the idea of good events activate from? Where is it that any form of knowing come from, you. Whether itâs about struggling with money, or about someone loving you, the story or ideas, conjure from you.
We already know that we are conciousness, but now letâs acknowledge the second mosy important part, reality begins at us, draw yourself into something that you donât really like, something youâd like to change, now notice where it activates from.
From knowing. Knowing the idea or story is its creation
Now when we see it casually, as just another thougt about something the world is showing us we brush it off and move on with our day, until we have to face that thing, but, what if this was actually in reverse?
Because if everything is an expression of source, doesnât that mean the world is too? It would have to be. Doesnât that mean, anything registered by the senses has to abide by its source? And doesnât that mean, that the world is not truly something of its own will?
The short answer is yes absolutely. And I can tell you, this is it. THIS WILL BE VERY F$&#*NG IMPORTANT.
Admitting to the idea that there is one source for everything is literally acknowledging that everything can only show up IN ACCORDANCE AND RESPECT TO WHATEVER ITS SOURCE IS.
THIS MEANS, the the world is a PROJECTION of source, IT DOES NOT STAND ALONE. It does not OPERATE ON ITS OWN.
The world is the projection of consciousness.

From us, an infinite array of stories and ideas come, and they only become activate or exist if we allow them to, if we give permission to this thing to exist.
That story that youâve had about SP (Specific Person) or Money or Success, has always been activated by you. TELL ME WHERE ELSE IT STARTS. You can literally even prove this to yourself right now. WHERE DOES THE STORY BEGIN.
And because the world is just an expression/extension of its source (YOU) it is ONLY GOING TO BE WHAT SOURCE IS. Because it is source, just with senses and perception. It is coming face to face with what you are aware of.
The way the world shows and all of its details are projections of whatever you decide to activate. How do you activate something? BY KNOWING IT.
How do you know âred appleâ ? By knowing it. That is the origin for this idea. And you can run this test for every single story you play on loop, find its source, it will always be you.
Now, for the important steps moving forward. Stop treating this like an on and off switch, truly stop caring about a feeling, stop letting yourself get so swayed out of understanding your identity as the source, do NOT give up this beautiful opprotunity just because it seems or feels different.
Youâve been taught for so long that the world has to be struggle, so thatâs all you know, youâve been told that things donât always come easy, this is all you know, take the time, take the days and weeks you need to break out of this useless cycle of exhaustion and understand who you are as source
Do not double down on doubts, double down on the truth, regardless of how you feel, take your time to feel, take your time to be, but never allow yourself to slip back into the brainwashing of the world.
Moving forward you need to understand the world objectively, not with the ideas of wants and desire, but for what it is. Source canât want, you turn it into desire by creating a sense of divide for yourself. You pretend the world is something to change, drop this. You pretend that the body is all you are, drop it, you pretend that there has to be more to this but knowing, DROPKICK this into the damn ground.
This all is very simple. Everything being the expression of source is only projecting what source (You) are. The world is a direct projection of conscious activity. Whatever is know is given permission to exist, itâs given life. Itâs created. THIS. IS. IT.
Whether it be blue butterflies, getting a free coffee, or changing your eye color, it all is just knowing. And this isnât something that turns off. This is reality, this is you. Start noticing the random things the world shows up as when you were just thinking about it the other day or a few hours ago. It is not a coincidence I assure you.
That friend you were thinking about calling you? Yeah.
That song you were thinking about suddenly popping up? Yeah
That âproblemâ you were thinking about suddenly reappearing? Yeah
It is all the same, yes it will take getting used to, but please understand me when I say this, it took me a painful amount of time and effort to finally see this as the truth, the amount of months Iâve spent isolating from content and other teachings allowed me to take ONLY personal experience, I tested it day in day out and this IS it.
Currently I expand my comfort on how seamless existing is, and I can assure you, if I can come to this conclusion, you 100% can because it has NOT been easy for me, and it almost didnât want to accept it. But the moment I did, and kept seeing it to be true time and time again, I knew I had to go fully in.
You create the idea of wanting by doing this.

This is what youâve given permission to exist, this is now activated, it now is conscious activity, and because the world is source projected with senses the world IS this.
You treat it like an absolute, but when it comes to something like this:

You treat it as effort, and something to do and wait on. Now tell me, does that make sense? Does the idea of waiting, wanting, desiring, changing, even make sense with the knowledge you have up to this point? Nope.
You need to understand. The world is not a story, itâs projection, and it can only be projecting you. Stop turning to the world as if it can make statements, as if itâs feeding you ideas, when youâre the one activating them. You NEVER actually change the world, itâs you that activates a new idea. THATS IT. It exists because you know it. A feeling cannot stop you from knowing, the world cannot stop you from knowing, ONLY YOU can stop yourself from activating a story. A story canât exist if it isnât known.
So, donât you think itâs about time you see past the illusion of wanting and see for yourself what you are?

Why you have delays
....Itâs because you assume you have delays. Pfft. Iâm kidding, we donât do that here. No one actively sits there and goes âI assume XYZ, and now itâll take 5 years :)â. No. You may assume it takes long becuase of the patterns continuity taught you, but at most youâre usually uncertain right? Youâre unsure of time, not dead-set. You fear itâll take long, but you donât actually assume itâll take long. Letâs be real here. Fear and assumption are different. And just because you fear something doesnât change your intention. *sips tea* Moving on.
Letâs say youâre sitting in a house right nowâthat house is your awareness.
You're sitting in one of its roomsâ that room is your current reality (a point of observation within awareness, the version of the world youâre observing right now).
The laws of the room, the way things happen, how cause and effect work, how desires are fulfilledâare all determined by what you observe inside of it.
Now say youâre sitting on the couch, and across the room is a table. On that table, thereâs a phone. You want that phone in your hand. So you set an intention: âI want the phone in my hand.â
Now remember: this phone already exists within your house. This is your awareness. You own all of it. So itâs already yours. But based on the rules of this particular roomâyour current observationâthe only way the phone gets into your hand is if:
Someone walks in, notices the phone under the magazine, lifts it and hands you the phone.
You realize youâve been sitting on the phone the whole time, and it was never under the magazine.
You say âfuck it!â get up, and grab it yourself.
Or any other âlogicalâ explanation, like you lassoe the table legs and pull it toward you so you can get the phone.
But the idea is: in this room, the phone only comes to you through continuity. Through a chain of events. Thatâs how this observation plays out. But what if you donât want that? What if your actual intention isnât âI want to eventually go get the phoneâ? What if your true intention is: âI want the phone to pop into my hand right nowâ
That intention is backed by an observation doesnât match the rules of this room. So instead of fighting with those rules, you just get upâand walk into the next room. A different version of the exact same setup, except the rules are different.
A.K.A.: You shift realities! Through intention. The action of getting up and walking into the next room is the same as you intending something. This intention can be placed however you want; through affirmations, a method, a decision, an assumption, and so on.
Now you sit back on the couch, same as before. Youâre still you. Still in the house. But now youâre in a room where the moment you say âI have the phone in my hand,â itâs just there. No delay, no chain of events. Thatâs just how this room works.
This is how shifting works. You donât change rooms by force or by effortâyou change them by changing your observation. You say something that doesnât fit the laws of the current room, and boom! Youâre somewhere else, youâve moved. Not with your body, but with awareness.
Intention and observation may appear separate, but they are the same movement expressed from two angles. Imagine intention as an object, and observation as the weather. Say, for instance, you observe itâs a blazing, sunny day. But then you pick up an umbrella. That simple act shifts everything: now, whether you realize it or not, youâre observing a world where itâs rainy. The umbrella doesn't respond to the weatherâit controlls.
So observation must follow intention, not because theyâre in conflict, but because they are synchronized. You donât hold an umbrella in the sun unless you know rain is coming. Or, more accurately: because you hold the umbrella, rain already is.
This new room looks exactly the same as the old one. So similar that your sensesâyour visual, mental, emotional muscle memoryâstill think youâre in the old one.
So you look down and the phone isnât in your hand. Your senses still think the old roomâs rules are in play, and because of that, you start doubting. âWait⌠if I moved rooms, why donât I see the phone yet? Maybe I didnât shift. Maybe I did it wrong.â
And look: Doubts are fine. You can doubt all you want while still sitting in the couch of that new reality you are observing. The rules already changed, and the phone is already in your hand. But you're still checking for evidence using the logic of a room you left.
So what happens?
Instead of staying still, instead of holding the new observation as real, you panic. You get up. You walk back to the old room. You say: âLet me try again.â Now you really donât have the phone. Now you're back in a room where you have to go get it manually.
And you call that delay. You think nothing happened, but what happened is: you walked backwards. You didnât stay in the room you shifted into. You let the illusion of continuity override the laws of your new reality.
You moved to a new room, and because it looked exactly like the last one, you didnât believe it. So you reversed it. You âcheckedâ for proof using the logic of the old room, but instead of calling it out as bs because it didn't make sense, you walked right back to the old room to try more things, back into the version of the world where proof and outcome requires time, effort, and action.
So what is delay, really?
Picture yourself in that room, still insisting the phone not in your hand is an illusion. You say âWell, Iâm in the new room, so logically the phone should already be here.â But letâs not kid ourselvesâit's not in your hand. You're still seeing the illusion. And then what do you do? You start using illusion-logic to explain the illusionâs persistence. It becomes circular. Thatâs what generates the feeling of delay.
But delay itself isnât real, itâs just the perceived time it takes for the illusion to dissolve, for the false observation to collapse under the weight of your intention. And that collapse is completely subjective and unique to the observer, because everyone observes different things.
If you're still subtly watching a reality where things take time, even if you say âeverything comes instantly,â you're likely thinking âinstantlyâ means two days, or sometime vague and undefined. Thatâs uncertainty, and itâs what youâre really observing. It stays because most of us were never conditioned to believe we could just claim something and it would be ours, now. Even in the world of manifestation, people expect at least a slight wait.
So, to collapse the illusion: Keep calling it out. Once, twice, ten times. Keep identifying the lie until it canât sustain itself anymore. Thatâs why what we call âdelayâ differs for everyone.
The most important thingâthe most important thingâis that you donât go back and try to do something else. Once youâve intended for something to be yours, your job is not to act again, not to try again, not to fix anything. The only thing you must doâmust, without exceptionâis call out every contradiction as illusion. Thatâs it. No negotiation. Spiral, but know the spiraling is illusion.
Because logically, if itâs already yours, then any sign that says otherwise is false. Iâm saying this as seriously and as clearly as possible: get this through your head. Stop returning to the old room, to the old reality, trying to tweak and patch and do more. That constant effort to âgetâ what you already claimed is exactly what keeps you stuck there, in delay.
About persistence and continuity + why some things donât manifest + revision
Letâs say you intend: âIâm going to be given free fruit at the farmerâs market right now.â
You donât waver, you donât second-guess, and thatâs the observation you wantâso thatâs the room you walk into.
But you get to the market, and⌠nothing. No one gives you fruit. No kindness, no miracle, no magic. So what happened?
You entered the new roomâwhere âI get free fruitâ is a lawâbut brought your old roomâs furniture with you. You carried in continuity. You lugged in cause and effect. You expected the fruit to show up, but only in ways that made sense by the old roomâs rules: maybe a free sample, a stranger offering fruit, a coupon. And when none of that happened, you assumed the intention âdidnât work.â
But you forgot: the moment you declared that intention, you already left the old room. You werenât operating under those laws anymore. You just didnât let the new roomâs observation fully settle in because it looked the same. The same market, the same people, the same stalls. So when the fruit didnât visibly show up immediately, you said, âSee? Nothing happened.â
And again, thatâs what creates the illusion of delay. Thatâs the problem. You pointed at the lack and said, âItâs still here,â instead of calling it what it was: FAKE.
My version of persistence is thinking persistence is bullshit. Because the moment you think you have to âpersist,â youâre secretly believing that thereâs still something to overcome. You think the old room is still in control. You call the illusion outâand then panic when it doesnât collapse on command.
Thatâs the sickness I keep seeing. âI called out the illusion, but it still didnât break.â And you let that illusion fool you again, just because it didnât drop dead immediately. Youâre acting like this:
You point to the murderer and scream, âThere he is!â
And he looks at you, blood-soaked knife in hand, and says âWhat murderer? :)â And you go âOh okay, I believe you :)â and follow him into the woods. Thatâs what youâre doing.
Thatâs illusion. You donât fix that by doing more. You fix it by refusing to interpret it as real. Because if you go to the market and donât get free fruit, and you go, âOh, okay, I guess it didnât happen,â
then you just stepped back into the old room. You reverted to continuity logic. You let your five senses drag you by the throat back to square one.
What should you do instead? You say: âThatâs fake. Thatâs not the room Iâm in anymore. That isnât mine.â
And reality folds. And this bleeds into revision too, because look what happens:
Youâre walking home outside the market, someoneâs got a flat tire, you stop to help, and they hand you a bag of apples as thanks. Boom. Free fruit. The intention never missed. You just didnât let go of the expectation that it had to show up a certain way, within a certain time, by certain rules.
Persistence isnât affirming 400 times like a wind-up toy. You already know what you want, your awareness already knows what you want.
Real persistence is this: Anytime something contradicts your intentionâwhether itâs delay, a visual mismatch, a sinking feeling, or ânothing happeningââyou look it dead in the face and say: âYouâre fake. Youâre lying. I already moved rooms.â
Thatâs it. Persistence is refusing to acknowledge the contradiction as real, even something like âyour desires not manifesting.â Idc if you saw it in reality. It contradicts your intention, so it must be fake.
Why manifesting feels easier than shifting
Letâs go back to the core: Shifting is the moment you decide to shift.
Thatâs it. Not when you see it, not when it proves itself; the decision is the shift. So why does manifesting feel easier than shifting?
Because manifesting feels like rearranging the furniture in the same room. Your awareness recognizes the layout, the rules, the continuity. Changing your outfit, getting more money, meeting someone newâthose all fit the framework of this reality. They follow the logic of the room youâre in. So even if you donât see it yet, your mind says âHuh. Yeah, that tracks.â
But shifting feels like stepping into an entirely different room. New lighting, new gravity, new laws, new continuity. And the issue is that you think walking from one room to the next is this huuuge, impossible thing. When theyâre all just rooms in your house. Theyâre just realities within your awareness. All of them are your safe rooms because theyâre yours.
Are they both the same thing under the hood? Yes. Theyâre both intention-based. Itâs all observation.
But hereâs whatâs tripping you up: You see manifesting as using this roomâs continuity unknowingly, while you see shifting as switching to a new room with new logic.
So your brain clings to manifesting because it seems familiar. Itâs happening all around youâpeople getting rich, people losing weight, people changing circumstancesâand all of it fits the continuity youâre used to. You see it. You witness it. You call it ânormal.â
But you donât see shifting it in this room. You only hear about it, dream about it, read about it. So your brain labels it âunreal.â Thatâs the illusion.
Hereâs the trick:
That difference between manifesting and shifting is also an illusion. They both hinge on one thing: what you intend/observe.
This is how you see it:
Want weight loss? Beauty? Money? This room can easily deliver. It just âexplainsâ it with diet, exercise, promotion, etc. but thatâs just how this room writes the script around your intention.
Want to shift into Hogwarts, your DR, a cartoon world, whatever? Thatâs a room-change.
So are you stuck here?
No. This room never had the final say. Itâs just a single room in an infinite house.
Thereâs a room for every observation:
A Law of Assumption room
A Law of Attraction room
A room where everything is chaotic
A room where you blow a kazoo and a mouse shows up with your manifestation
A room where you say âThe phoneâs in my hand,â and it instantly materializes.
And guess what thatâs called? Shifting.
And the part that makes it so that manifesting and shifting are at the same level of difficulty, is that:
Every time you manifest something in this room through intention, what youâre doing is moving into a different room altogether. You just perceive it as being the same room, because it just looks like the old room+ with your new object of intention.

You donât have to physically move to shift. Just like you donât feel like you have to physically move to manifest.
You donât need effort. You donât need a technique. Your intention is the door. So the real question becomes:
Are you trying to go to a different room where it looks exactly like this room + but edecorated (your perceived easy manifestation)â Or are you ready to walk into a room thatâs completely different?
Because neither is harder. Neither is more âreal.â
Theyâre the same mechanism. Itâs all intention. Itâs all observation. Whether you use Law of Assumption, Law of Attraction, or whatever elseâthose are just different tools for directing your awareness.
âWhy is it hard to become aware of something I canât perceive yet?â Itâs not. If youâve acknowledged that it existsâyouâre already aware of it.
Perception is just how awareness expresses itself inside the rules of a particular room. Touch, sight, sound, timeâthose are filters. Awareness itself isnât bound by them.
Whether youâre shifting, manifesting, or collapsing the whole house into a dream within a dream, the mechanism is always the same. You donât wait for perception to catch up before you move.
You moveâthen perception follows. You intendâthen your observation follows. Because itâs all the same thing.
Why you donât shift immediately after intending to (you do)
Because youâre asking this question. AnywayâŚ.
Picture this: you pack your bags, lock the door, and walk out of your old room for the last time. Youâve decided youâre moving. You donât belong in this room anymore, youâre gone. You step into the hallway, ready to head to your new room⌠and then you immediately turn around and start painting the laws of your old room, vacuuming the carpet, and wondering why your furniture hasnât magically rearranged itself into the layout of your new room.
Thatâs exactly what most people do when they âintendâ to shift. They declare âIâm there. Iâve shifted,â but theyâre still looking around using the eyes of this reality. And the laws of this reality say, that other place isnât real, you canât be there. So even though the decision was made, youâre still measuring success by the rules of the world you were trying to leave.
And this reality, if you give it a sliver of your attention it goes: âWell, obviously you need to affirm harder. Try another method. Wait for proof. Youâre not there yet.â You believe it because thatâs how this reality has always taught you to operate: effort first, reward later. Wait for the package to arrive. Donât celebrate until the cakeâs out of the oven.
So you start âtrying harder.â You visualize more. You layer method on method. All youâre really doing is repainting the walls of your old room and calling it a move. You never actually left, youâre still here, playing by the same rules.
But shifting doesnât play by those rules. The moment you say Iâm there, youâre there, full stop. That declaration is the shift. Anything you see, hear, or feel that tells you otherwise is not real. Itâs the illusion being propped up by the pattern recognition still stuck to your observation like chewing gumâbut not your observation/intention.
This reality only has power if you give it power. When you declare âIâm a master shifter,â sure, this reality will happily play along. It will let you âsee signs,â âimprove,â âget better over time.â Itâll build you a nice linear progress story because thatâs its style. But the truth is, you donât need any of that. None of itâs required.
Every time you glance around, donât see your DR, and conclude that means youâre not thereâyouâve just walked right back into the old room, slammed the door, and sat on the couch like nothing happened.
And hereâs the most backwards part of all:
Youâre waiting for your DR to appear inside this reality when the shift already happened the second you decided.
Youâre trying to get to a completely new reality⌠but youâre still looking for it inside this one. You want the laws of your old reality to confirm the existence of your new one.
Thatâs like expecting a broken compass to point you to an entirely different planet. This reality canât show you your DR because itâs not the one youâre in anymore. The second you declared the shift, you stepped off its map entirely. But you keep peeking back at the old map and wondering why your new room isnât printed there.
Every time you look around and donât see your DR in this reality, and decide that means youâre not there, youâre locking yourself into the laws of the old worldâthe one youâre trying to escape. Donât you see how backwards that is??

This is no shade to any teachers specifically, I'm just pointing out something I've noticed in the community and studying the law of consciousness and non dualism.
Think about it. You're God. You are awareness and awareness is infinite. Even when you are asleep you never stop being aware, you are just aware of being unconscious. When the human body "dies" you aren't going to disappear, you are going to return to the state of awareness you were in before taking on a human body and going through life. You have always been here and will always be here. So technically you are already immortal.
But with that being said, when we are fully awake to our power, why do we still entertain the idea of the body dying? To each their own, I guess, but I know that for me, I don't feel like going through another experience of forgetting who I really am and going through life believing I'm separate from everything, searching for happiness outside of me. Conforming to whatever society tells me I should be doing or how I should live. That's exhausting.
The universe was created by you. The idea of death was created by you. So who's to say you can't drop the idea of death? Just like we've come to understand that time and space aren't real, just made up concepts to make sense of the human experience. Death isn't any different.
You can live (or rather, occupy a body) for as long as you want. You want to experience your dream life as (insert name) and live for 1000 years? You can do that. Want to live forever? You can do that. If you decide you get bored with your current body/ego and want to start over with a new life, you can do that too. But it's YOUR CHOICE. You have a choice in EVERYTHING.
Nothing is above you or outside of you, there are no outside forces, including death, that you must abide to or accept. Period.

the only objective fact is that YOU are aware. labels arenât fact, there is no good or evil, no easy or had, no visible or invisible. Just pure awareness, so no matter how much you hate this reality, how evil you see it, all it needs is your awareness to stay alive , so starve it of that and it will collapse into nothing, and out of nothing you can create anything. instantly.
you need to start not giving a fuck, take your power back and declare what life is yours. Your life doesnât need changing if youâre already there, your face doesnât need fixing if you already had the face you want.
Have it or not? which one is it? Have that desired life and face or not? Your decision.
You can give birth to any experience you want to attain, you must trust in your ability to do that, or KNOW. You are not separate from the life you want, you donât need a âhowâ in order to âget thereâ, there is nowhere to get to, all you must do is realise youâre being fooled by your own dream,

To be triggered by circumstance âin your faceâ shows you donât know who you are just yet. Your suffering would completely come to an end if you would realise what you are. There would be no moments of doubt anymore.
You still have a deep belief in what your senses are telling you. and to that i say you canât serve two masters, do you serve your imagination or the senses that you generated.
âRealityâ as you see it is sooo mathematical, you as consciousness even generated the concept of senses to tie you down to the illusion.
There is a part of your consciousness still not ready to let the dream fall apart so easily, like a child not willing to give up a toy.
But it is for YOU to decide whether you want to break free. Your reality is happening now and iâm not stating that to make you happy, itâs just that you must decides whether you can see it infront of you or not.
and not bad like a rough week. bad like you are genuinely in it. depression, anxiety, a period where your brain is working against you and everything feels either too heavy or completely flat. that kind of bad.
because most manifestation content assumes a functioning baseline and if you are reading this you might not have that right now. so let's talk about what actually applies when you are in that place.
the first thing to know
you are not broken as a manifestor because your mental health is bad. you are not accumulating some kind of negative manifestation debt because you cannot maintain a high vibe right now. you are not falling behind.
mental health struggles are not a sign from the universe that you are off track. they are not a block you created. they are not proof that you do not deserve the thing or that it is not coming. they are just an illness or a difficult season doing what illnesses and difficult seasons do.
the law is not punishing you. it does not work that way.
what manifesting actually looks like when you are unwell
it looks very small. and that is okay.
when your mental health is bad, the goal is not to reach for your dream life and feel abundant and certain and in flow. that is genuinely not accessible and trying to force it usually just makes you feel worse because you cannot get there and then you feel like you are failing at this too.
the goal is just to not fully cement the worst belief. that is it. that is the whole job.
you are not trying to climb to the top. you are just trying to not dig deeper into the bottom. and those are very different tasks and the second one is much more manageable from where you are.
what that actually means in practice
when a thought comes in that says this is permanent, nothing will ever change, this is just who i am and what my life is - you do not have to counter it with positivity. you do not have to argue it away.
you just have to not fully agree with it.
even a tired, flat, low energy thought of "i don't actually know that it's permanent" is enough. you are not committing to hope. you are just refusing to commit to the worst conclusion. that tiny refusal is keeping the door open. and an open door is all you need right now.

when you are depressed or in a bad anxiety period your brain is going to produce a very convincing story about who you are. it is going to feel like the truth because it always feels like the truth when you are in it.
it is not the truth. it is a symptom.
the things your brain tells you about yourself when your mental health is bad, the worthlessness, the hopelessness, the you do not deserve good things and would not know what to do with them anyway, none of that is your actual self concept. it is your brain misfiring. it is an illness talking. it is not a revelation about your true nature.
you do not have to do self concept work from inside that. you do not have to try to believe wonderful things about yourself when your brain is actively telling you the opposite. that is too much of a leap and forcing it just produces frustration.
you just have to know, even if you cannot feel it, that what the depression or anxiety is telling you about yourself is not accurate. you do not have to feel the truth of that. just know it intellectually. hold it as information even if it does not feel real yet.
the feeling comes back when the episode lifts. and it does lift.
do not use manifesting as a way to avoid getting support
this needs to be said clearly. manifesting is not a replacement for treatment, medication, therapy, talking to someone, or asking for help. it is not a higher or more spiritual alternative to those things. it is not a reason to push through alone because if you just fix your mindset you will not need anything else.
if you need support, getting that support is the most aligned thing you can do. full stop. your nervous system cannot hold new assumptions when it is in crisis. taking care of yourself is not a detour from the work. it is the work.
on the days when you cannot do anything at all
some days with bad mental health you genuinely cannot do a technique, hold an assumption, redirect a thought, or engage with any of this. some days just getting through the day is everything you have.
on those days, you do not have to manifest. you just have to survive the day. that is enough. that is genuinely enough.
you are not losing ground by resting. you are not falling behind by having a bad day or a bad week or a bad month. the desire does not expire. the assumption can be picked back up when you have the capacity to pick it up again.
be very gentle with yourself here. this is not a race and you are dealing with something real and hard.
the short version
manifest small when your mental health is bad. refuse to cement the worst belief. know that what your brain says about you in those periods is a symptom not a truth. get support if you need it. rest when you have to.
and when you have a slightly better moment, even a small one, just let yourself think "things can change." not a technique. not an affirmation. just a quiet acknowledgement that the current state is not the final state.
that is all. that is genuinely all that is needed right now.
