Sorry, guys, today is gonna be a Choreday. Since I already brought up the original Joanna in the last post and had some suspicions, I stopped by to check on her (and by that, I mean checking for new posts tagged with MY name, cause this is not my first rodeo) and sure enough, she remembered me recently. Twice.
She's like my personal little jester that I didn't ask for. She twists everything I say, and if I didnât say something she needed me to say for her own agenda (usually awful and completely nonsensical things), she says it for me. Some of it is actually entertaining, like this little Dr. Doom story. So I give her some credit for those.
And she's not alone in this, but she's the most interesting specimen and she has her own mob, which is a little crazy. In addition, people who are offended by life (or, as they think, by me) tend to come to visit her (or she to them) to shit on me, or those in the fandom who communicated with me in a positive way. Some of her allies in this personal vendetta claim to be Tony's fans, while uniting with, one might say, his main hater on social media. So excuse me if after that I don't believe you for a second when you say that you care about this character.
Btw, if anyone wants to prove that they're telling the truth about me, I challenge you. Do it. Just do it.
The one about fact-checking - Joanna, dear, you haven't fact-checked anything at all. Learn to do this, because from what I've heard, even your books are full of words but devoid of substance. If you have nothing to say, the best way to preserve your reputation as an "expert" is to remain silent. Oh, and I forgot, you're not an expert. How long are you going to continue playing the role of "legal expert," my dear medieval history major? And yes, you have nothing to preserve either, because I don't know how anyone could sink lower than that.
Btw, could you tell me what kind of legal expert you're pretending to be here? A solicitor or a barrister, perhaps? Because, as I'm sure you know, under British law, it's illegal to pose as a qualified lawyer, and doing so can lead to imprisonment.
The second one is about my Daily Bugle list:
An interesting interpretation. But if the statement "a list of people I disagree with" were true, I wouldn't have enough space in one post to list them all. I constantly see things I disagree with. Even more often than things I agree with. But the people on this list are special: they were professional assholes. And not just towards me, and not just once.
Before Joanna, I had a rule that was very naive of me: I didn't block anyone from the fandom. Of course, there were some exceptions for accounts outside the fandom - scams, threats, spam; and even one exception for a fandom account - a bot spamming tags with fanfics about Irondad & Spiderson. It's still active. Whoever runs this bot - nothing is wrong with the fics, but you really should've thought before creating it, as it clogs the entire feed and hinders real users.
So when Joanna came along and made me spend days on her fake ass, I had to change my rule: starting with that incident, anyone who acts like her, meaning a rude, pretentious, self-centered jerk who gets caught lying and getting into bad-faith arguments with me and others, threatening and insulting me or my friends - I block them, and some of them I put on the list.
Why? Because a) I have all my posts in that navigation, and if you got a post, it had to go somewhere; b) if you're on the list, it means I have found you to be harmful enough to the well-being of the fandom, as your posts are violent and/or disturbingly misleading, and you engage in bullying or similarly dishonest behavior, usually more than once. So the best I could do was add you there as a warning to other people in the fandom that you are an actual or potential troll, and engaging in a discussion with you may not be the most pleasant experience for everyone. Except for Joanna and the others on the list, of course. In that case, I'm sure you all have enough venom to kill a herd of bison and have a feast.
And now about those who have already been blocked and whom I had the "pleasure" of seeing on Joanna's blog:
@transexualpirate, dear, have you forgotten? That was you who blocked me first. This wasn't my first interaction with this person, whose position is actually anti-Tony, despite his claims to the contrary. You can see for yourself his interactions with Joanna. His blog is also full of hate and posts of a violent nature. For all these reasons, he was blocked and added to the list.
@thekitchensdevil (previous name @doggietag) blocked me, I didn't block this person. In fact, I thought we were doing fine:
Until his friend came to me with insults and threats. Then, of course, I blocked that person. And then I discovered that doggietag blog is not available to me anymore as well. Now I wonder if this is the same person:
I can't reciprocate your feelings because I don't hate you. It's just sad that you spend your life libelling some guy on the internet and hating him, and he doesn't even hate you back. You could study something useful instead, like social science.
So yeah, I'm going to block this account now so he can maybe read some books in the time freed up from me, I don't know. As they say, "touch the grass."
In conclusion, this should have been taught from an early age, but apparently it wasn't, or something went wrong, so I'll remind you of what's bad: lying, libelling, threatening, insulting without good reason, impersonating someone else for personal gain, etc. - all of this is wrong and represents the behavior of morally corrupt people. Considering that many of you claim to be Captain America stans, and he, in turn, is considered the most morally superior being in the Omniverse or whatever (at least in the MCU, that's for sure), you don't seem very committed to his cause. I know who you're truly loyal to and to what cause, and I'll write a post about it. I find the truth very ironic.
So, I've wasted another day on something that wasn't worth wasting my time on, but I hope it helps someone in some way. Perhaps to avoid wasting their own time by staying away from people who exhibit the characteristics of typical MCU villains.
