maybe you don’t. maybe fear is proof that you’re alive, that you care, that something matters enough to tremble for. maybe the trick isn’t to stop being scared but to hold its hand and walk anyway. the fear will shrink when it realizes you’re not listening to it as much as you’re listening to yourself. take its hand, let it follow you, but don’t let it lead.
