so i always mix the manga and the game together because canon is a suggestion and the Links are my Barbie dolls that i do what i wish with so in the manga it's mentioned that Twilight isn't from Ordon village and had only moved there about a year and a half prior to the events of his adventure but before that he lived in a village on the edge of the desert and i like to believe that the Gerudo were more of a travelling tribe after the events of OoT, i think that village was a small Gerudo settlement, not the main one but quite possibly where Kara Kara is in Wilds era, he grew up there with his mothers until the events that drove him to moving to Ordon took place. He lost his mothers and his village so he took his horse and his most non-Gerudo looking clothing and fled, though he knows now he could've worn his normal clothes and Ordon would've still welcomed him with open arms, knowing this does hurt a bit. But now he knows he never had to abandon that part of him just to avoid discrimination that never came and he does try to reconnect with that again now and it has both become easier since meeting Telma and harder since reluctantly spending more time in castle town around Hylians who still hold prejudice against the Gerudo, but he's working on it

after his adventure he did sort of run away from Ordon too, he would appear sometimes but only in his house and at the spring. Running from his problems is a thing he's always had, when he was a kid he used to run and hide because he thought he would get into more trouble than he ever actually did. He was doing better living in Ordon because he didn't have anywhere else, Rusl and Uli would never let him run, they'd find Ilia and send her after him since they were close friends from the day he showed up, she knew his favourite places to run to and thankfully they were never far. Now he's with the chain and has reverted back to running which is once more becoming very difficult because now they won't let him run away either, none of them like talking about their problems but they like having problems just sitting there without being resolved even more so now he's forced to talk about it which. He hates, but they don't force everything out of him at once which is a little bit better. But he's getting better about talking again and that makes the others very happy

🐺🐺!! he has a big scar on his arm where it got cut off in the manga, it goes all the way around and sometimes he still feels like it could fall off, he generally keeps it wrapped but he's sort of learning how to fight with his right arm as well since he'll occasionally lose feeling in the left. Magically replenished or not he's still feeling the fact that it was gone.

when he's excited or happy or anything like that he'll sort of move a bit away to make room for a tail that isn't there, he has a terrible case of phantom tail 😔. He widens his stance a bit when somethings spooked him to tuck an invisible tail between his legs, none of the stuff he does to accommodate it is very noticeable but once they figured out why he does it the rest of the chain couldn't stop themselves from also noticing it

his mom was a scholar and a lot of his books belonged to her, he doesn't read them often but he can and a couple of them she wrote herself and never got to publish but they were studies about mask magic and twili magic and how the other realms like Termina and Lorule and the Twilight Realm could all possibly be connected, his mom was very intrigued about her grandfathers masks and was the only one of her siblings that believed her fathers stories passed down from his father. So in a way, Twilight knew about Time before he ever met him, he grew up with stories from both of his mothers about a hero and how they were related to him and he never really listened to them, he thought they were kinda silly because how could a weird birthmark on his hand prove he was related to the Hylians goddesses hero, he thought the stories were pulled from a fairytale and that his great grandfather must've just been reading from a book and he told his parents such. But after his adventure he believed it, the only difference now was that his mothers were dead and he couldn't go back to ask to hear the stories again and compare them to the Hero's Shade

he has to shave every day lest he grow a full beard on accident 😔

yk those people that always look like they have eyeliner on without actually having eyeliner on, that's him, and it looks perfect, and he has really thick and long eyelashes and like thick curly hair and Warriors is devastated

when he first moved to Ordon he tried to be vegan for a week because he saw the goats and decided they were so amazing he could never eat meat again, it failed terribly and he's still made fun of for it today

he has a little scar on his wrist from where the shackle would rub against him and cut him as Wolfie, he also has a few scars up his arm and on his other wrist where the little bit of chain would hit him when he was running
