The monster that Legend and Hyrule are fighting is a daira, not a lizalfos. Daira look like alligators, wield axes, and have mohawks. They are monsters that are exclusive to Hyrule's adventure.

Lizalfos have several incarnations, but they usually look like lizards and wield swords/knives or spears. The Lizalfos we have seen are specifically based on the ones from Ocarina of Time and Echoes of Wisdom. The Lizalfos in The Shadow seem to interestingly use the red spikes to indicate rank of some sort, with some having no spikes, some having one shoulder, and the Shadow having both shoulder armors spiky (and more elaborate armor in general).

Jojo pours a tremendous amount of attention to detail into these posts, so it feels a little unintentionally reductionist to take something which clearly had a lot of effort spent to make a cool and dynamic daira and just call it "a lizalfos with a mohawk". Part of what makes this comic so special to me is it doesn't just rely on a generic design for monsters, or only use designs from one era! But I also know not everyone knows all the monster designs, so I am putting out this PSA so people can admire the differences with me!

I have had this composition idea in my mind since you posted the prompt. I’m so glad I finally got time to finish this!! (Read: I got COVID. Now I no longer have COVID but I don’t wanna work. I told my boss I still need time from work. I spent three days doing art instead heheheh.)

I modeled his bust in like 3-4h, I don't have much experience in high poly modeling but it came out better than I expected. The render is 60fps 1920x1280px, the turnaround animation took my PC around 4h to render. This model has 376,449 Verts , 402,753 Faces and 750,026 Tris.

I saved the people ‘round Never thought of not attempting I saved mementos, items Stock and storage never-ending There’s no reason and no purpose Beyond ‘kill and kill again’ But I excel at causing problems I’ll escape it in the end.

I run from shadows sometimes There’s no shelter from the night I run from monsters often Haste my steps into the Light For all the times I’ve ran I’d think To feel some sort of shame But my heart, it won’t be burdened Won’t be shattered, won’t be chained.

I feel a strange sadness as The twilight turns to night I feel a quiet settle Through my bones that I can't fight There's a calm that comes from knowing There are others have my back And I seek the feeling even As I look for who I lack.

I sense a stiff wind coming Fit to blow a man aground I sense a wave and rolling Grow your sea legs ‘fore you’re drowned The Seas and Winds are fickle, see But they love me best I’m happy long’s I feel the breeze Feel it move at my behest.

I know I’m not the problem Just the logical response I know I’m good at hiding Masking panicked, frantic thoughts From my flesh and to my good name I have lost and lost and lost It’s not enough to win the battle For the war I’ll pay the cost.

I think and then I’m running Racing fear to the next mile I think and then I’m blanking My brain’s a maze’s a trial I’ve been blessed and I’ve been chosen Though I can’t recall the choice But I don’t want to remember Where I am right here is nice.
