I like to think Jon is innocent of Lyman's "disappearance". He had to move away and couldn't take Odie with him wherever he was going. Jon's just a good bro like that.

you finally escape from Jons basement but just before you reach the door gargfield bites your achilles tendon and cripples you, jon comes back and garfeld snitches, and he lifts your chin up and says youve been a bad girl. 'you were being so well-behaved', jon muses as you sob, 'but daddy cant let his little silly kitty go unpunished, hm?' you catch on. You beg for mercy. jon kisses your tears and says you can come out once you feel ready to behave; He proceeds to put you in the horse plinko.

imagine: your making lasaga for garfeild and omg, your out of salt !! jon notices your distress and tells you he will go and buy some, but you remind him that there are several tornadoes outside of your residence. he is detrminted though. he amputates his left arm and lights it on fire, before scooping up the ashes and sprinkling them on the lasgaga. garifld tastes it and says it good. you smile and tell jon you love him. you all die shortly after because the fire spread across the entire house.
