So actually, your assumption would be incorrect! In a previous post I mentioned that “Narinder would be a way better vessel than Káalé” and it’s mainly because of this.

God of Chaos Káalé promised Nari a comfortable life for eternity and he accepted. He figured that this life wasn’t his and he should appease his God.

The problem: Káalé gave him the crown wrong

If you’ve noticed, The crown is attached to Narinder (it was also my way of incorporating his third eye into this design.) Normally when I characterize the crown, it’s sentient, can float around and has its own personality. Nari’s crown in this AU can’t do that. It’s a part of him now.

So when he tries to lay down his life, he literally doesn’t have the power to do so. And Káalé mistakes it as betrayal- (and lowkey tries to guilt trip this man.)

What Káalé also fails to understand is that if they kill Narinder, the Green Crown’s power would vanish. It’s attached to him permanently.
