βNarinderβ¦βΒ
He turns, slowly approaching his former vessel. The trio of crimson eyes stare down at them as Narinder places his skeletal hand on the tuft of wool between their horns. βYou've done well.β The words are spoken softly- far softer than Narinder had ever addressed Amon, orΒ anyone, before. There is a silent moment where his touch lingers and through the eldritch veil of his distorted face there is a flicker behind those eyes the lamb does not recognize.Β
βLet me handle the rest.β His gaze moves towards the crown that was now cradled in their hands. Amon opens their mouth to speak. No words come as they feel the artifact shift with a newfound power coursing through it.Β
But that power is not for them to use.Β
It never was.
