i figure that it is mostly bc a lot of the stuff shes writing about is school stuff that lots of people go thru, especially if youre labeled as "different"

yeah like i love melanies music, its awesome, i just think its not great that she sometimes writes without experience.

People need to realize pennywise feeds off of peoples fear, and richie's fear is he doesnt want anyone to know hes gay.

melanie martinez has said in some interviews that she sings about like parental abuse and stuff like that even though she had a really great dad n stuff and i think thats a little not great

the only thing im still sketchy about with melanie is that she still sometimes writes about abuse despite having not personal experience with those types of abuse, however, i do still love her music, i just think that maybe she should be more open about the fact that she writes about other peoples experiences and not her own bc shes only mentioned it like once or twice
