online numbers can really fuck you up when it comes to your creative work because you're sharing something you worked on with all your heart but it's very important to remember there's actual people behind those numbers. even if it's 1. that's one whole actual person. that's a human being who said "haha nice". that's a connection with a REAL person with a REAL life and REAL thoughts and feelings and experiences. like. damn. that should mean something
I think the biggest thing mascot horror things need to get a grip on is the reasonable balance of cute/creepy. The mascot in question needs to be cute enough to realistically be for children but scary enough to actually make for effective horror. Most games always lean too far in either direction and idk maybe it's just me but immersion with these kinds of games are important for me to actually find enjoyment in them.

tbh dude, i don’t really promote my work, and "management" is just...occasionally posting.
my following came primarily from the fandoms I’ve been a part of over the years, and the very nice people who’ve stuck around after i stopped posting the thing they originally followed me for.
if i could give advice, itd be that you’ve gotta have the confidence to post what you make without the expectation of outside validation.
not everyone is going to like your art, and that’s ok. you might not get a ton of likes or reblogs, but as long as you're making what you like, others who also like that thing will find it (as long as its well-tagged).
