So DNI's have been getting put on like most blogs it feels like. (DNI stands for "do not interact" and is put on posts or in bio's to tell people they don't want a specific group(s) of people to view their blog.)

Now do you really expect hundreds to billions of people to just like.....not interact? Or like remember to look at your bio and your username? Do you expect people to look at each account they like a picture on? Because that unrealistic. Half of the time the DNI links in people's bio's don't even work.

I feel like it would be better to put in you bio or posts "if you are a *blank* and I see you in my notifs you will be blocked".

I had someone I hadn't contacted (I may have reblogged like one of their posts but that was it) message me to say that they were going to block me and not to try and make further contact with them because it’d be considered harassment. I had someone follow me, unfollow me, follow me again, and then block me (all within like 10 mins) just to let me know that they’d blocked me. Like, I don't give a shit if you block me and I'm certainly not going to harass you from my other account, but why do you make such a big deal about it?

Also, just to add, that if you don’t want to interact with group X, but then make a post and add the tags which belong to/are widely used by group X, then don't get annoyed when they start reblogging or commenting on your post. Don't say that you have a DNI in your bio or tags which you expect that to be respected when YOU’VE just come into their tags.

if you have a dni on something like, idk, a stimboard then that’s stupid. discourse doesn’t belong in stimning.

if you have a dni on a mlm blog then that’s fair enough (radfems dni, nblm dni, etc).

if you have a dni on a post that’s directly attacking or making comments about that group of people, don’t expect them to listen to that dni.

also, if someone reblogs a post of yours, chances are they haven’t gone to your bio and seen your dni so don’t go to dms and tell them to shoot themselves like people have done to me.

I just don't understand sometimes and it's frustrating to me whenever I try to follow someone because they focus on the same special interests as me.

Like- it starts with them hating eachother- and then they grow to become friends and respect eachother's oppinions

It’s an aesthetic for ALL LGBT+ people, no matter what you identify as or what opinion you have on discourse, because everyone deserves to be proud of themself! There shall be no hating on ANYONE under the name of pridecore, it’s about positivity and love for all identities and people even, if you disagree with them.
