October 4th, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rainy streets near Community College of Philadelphia.

The station is pretty empty because this is the last AM rush-hour train to Boston, so most commuters have already boarded earlier trains.

The suburbs in Massachusetts are filled with parks, but the view here in particular is breathtaking. It’s amazing coming here in different seasons, watching as the leaves change, fall, and grow again.

The third photo is a room used by people of all faiths, and it’s where Jumu’ah prayers at Northeastern are usually held. Jumu’ahs on college campuses are usually given by volunteer Muslim students or professors. The smaller side-room with the prayer rugs are exclusively used by Muslims. 

I took these while waiting on the steps for the next commuter rail train to Providence, the train I take back and forth from school/work everyday. Ruggles is right next to Northeastern University and has commuter rail, orange line (subway), and bus connections, so it’s one of the busier stations.

New homes are being built daily in inner-city South Philadelphia. The apartments actually look so good but are way over priced. Usually when I take walks around the neighborhood, I see so many homes being deconstructed. Construction work is everywhere and the new apartments have a modern, mid-century look. If you can afford it and want to live close to downtown, you could find a really good place in South Philly. I’ve never been in any of the apartments but to be honest, from the outside they look great!

 Just that morning, the sky was blue and the weather was calm...then I got 4 flash flood warnings on my phone. Here I was waiting for the next MBTA (Mass Bay Transportation Authority) bus to bring me to Ruggles (train station) to catch the next train and finally go home

Buildings in downtown Philadelphia on the way to Community College of Philadelphia during lunch hour. Most people seen out at this time are people who have jobs in the area and are off on lunch break with colleagues. You can spot many students as well because of so many universities and colleges near here.
