Me:

-was in her early forties but didn’t have her life all together yet

-didn’t have a perfect Hollywood figure but nobody made a joke about her weight (to my knowledge)

-super funny and empathetic

-doubted her capabilities at first but learned to trust herself

-wanted to go on crazy space adventures but simultaneously wanted to get married and have a family and she was never derided for wanting both

-had a rich platonic relationship with the Doctor

26) Marlie + anxiety

“Breath for me, okay.” Matteusz held onto Charlie’s shoulders and tried to calm him down. “Copy me.”

Charlie opened his eyes and nodded. They breathed together for a moment until Charlie had calmed down from his panic attack.

“Are you okay?”

“Define okay,” Charlie answered weakly. “No.”

“Come here, if you want to.”

Charlie shifted over to curl up in his boyfriend’s arms and clung to him. “My panic attacks keep happening more often.”

“You will get better.”

“But what… what if I don’t get better?” Charlie asked, worried. “What if you get tired of telling me to breath?”

“I will never get tired of you. I promise to love you today and tomorrow and always.” Matteusz kissed the top of his head. “I promise.”

“I love you so much.”

10) Marlie + sprain

“Are you sure it’s not fatal?”

“Charlie, I am-”

“Humans are very fragile and you can’t walk and I’m really wor-”

Matteusz leaned over to kiss him, which stopped his rambling pretty effectively.

“I will be fine. It does not hurt too much.”

“Are you lying to calm me down?”

“Kochanie, you don’t need to worry. I will live.” Matteusz squeezed his hand.

“Is there anything I can do?” Harlow asked. “I could get you a drink or-”

“All I want is you to come and cuddle with me,” Matteusz answered, smiling at his boyfriend.

Charlie curled up next to his boyfriend and kissed his cheek. “I only worry because I love you so much.”
