A = Affection: how affectionate are they? how do they show affection?

I would say John is decently affectionate. Not overwhelming or underwhelming so. But if you were to want more or less, he will be ready to satisfy asap.

Writing songs about you and kissing you like it's the last time ever are his strong suits.

B = Best Friend: What are they like as a best friend? How does the friendship change when dating?

Even when you guys start going out, it's like nothing has changed. He still plays with you and is more than happy to have fun with you. Not everything has to be romantic, he just genuinely enjoys your presence.

C = Cuddles: Do they like to cuddle? How do they position themselves?

One of his favorite things is waking up with you wrapped in his arms. John definitely prefers big spoon. But if you want to switch it up, he's fine with it. At first he was a little skeptical of the idea, but then you guys tried it and he liked it more than he thought.

D = Dates: What is their ideal date night?

Walking around the city and just seeing how things play out. John thinks it's way more fun when it's not fully planned out.

E = Everything: What is one small thing about their partner that means everything to them?

Your love and passion for things. He was intrigued by it the very day he met you. John learned the beauty of noticing. When you two are together it really changes his perspective on the world.

F = Fights: How do they handle arguments? Do they apologize first?

Accidentally saying things he doesn't mean happens quite a bit. He gets too frustrated sometimes and just blurts. John may take a while to apologize but absolutely will when he realizes he has hurt you. Constantly trying to work on himself.

G = Gifts: What kind of gifts do they give?

He loves to give you song notes. If he is working on lyrics about you, he gives you a little sneak peak before the studio version. You have kept every single piece of slightly wrinkled page. John loves to spoil his lover with many nice presents. If there is something you have really been wanting, you will get it. Of course he will buy you things without you having to mention it, but he'd rather just know stuff that you actually want.

H = Holding Hands: Do they like holding hands? How do they like to do it?

More of a holding onto your shoulder or waist kind of guy. Would he refuse your hand? No, of course not. But having a gentle but firm grip on you is very comforting to him. He likes to keep you close.

I = "I Love You": Who says it first? How often do they say it?

You said it first. He was kind of frustrated when you beat him to it. John says it multiple times a day. Also at the most random moments ever. You will be just sitting next to him on the couch in your cozy house or out on a bench in the park. He says it with his whole heart every time in an endearing tone.

J = Jealousy: Do they get jealous easily? How do they react?

Oh absolutely. John is not quiet about his jealousy either. If there is someone talking a little too friendly he is very vocal about not enjoying their presence in snarky jokes/remarks. If someone were to put their hands on you without permission or inappropriately, he is ready to fight a bloke.

K = Kisses: What are their kisses like?

Earlier I mentioned this a little bit. Every time he kisses like it's the last time he is ever going to see you. They are so long and deep, you have to break away for a moment to catch your breath.

Big fan of neck kisses as well. He loves when you give him one out of nowhere. It never fails to make him feel like a teenager again.

L = Little Things: What tiny everyday habits do they do to show they care?

Makes you a cup of coffee or tea whenever he sees you getting comfy somewhere in the house.

M = Morning: What is a typical morning like with them? Are they a morning person?

Not at all a morning person. You brush his hair out of face and kiss him, no response. You call his name, no response. So usually it ends up being you literally having to shake him awake.

It takes John a while to feel comfortable enough around you. You might slowly catch onto a few things based on what he says when you two are alone. But for him to fully just rant about his childhood and fears, your relationship is serious and long-term.

P = Protection: How protective are they? How do they look out for their partner?

Very much protective. If you are at a bar or a party, he keeps you close. You never have to be worried about your safety, when John is around.

Q = Quirk: What is a unique or strange habit they have when in a relationship?

He loves to just put his face in your hair and inhale. The scent of your shampoo is very comforting to him. It's familiar and a reminder that you're really there with him.

R = Romance: How romantic are they? Do they like grand gestures or quiet moments?

So romantic, but in random moments. You never have to be doing something big or extreme for John to just be all over you.

S = Support: How do they comfort their partner after a rough day?

John gets very mad at first, frustrated like he is the one who had the bad day. But after he huffs and puffs about how stupid whatever situation might have been. He is quick to baby you. Holding you close and trying his best to encourage you.

A little too adventurous at points. You always have a great ol' time with him, but there have been instances where he got a little too confident and has become clumsy. Like having too many drinks, trying to climb a light post to make you laugh but then accidentally falling and busting his knee.

He can tell when something is off, or when you're not being honest about your feelings. Even if you do have a pokerface, he just knows.

You're empathetic. John may have some good friends but the way that you connect with people really inspires him to be better.

Tells you the really weird and maybe frisky dreams he has about you. Has no shame at all when doing so.

He is such a big baby. The rest of the band complains about him, because he constantly whines that he misses you so much.
