How would they react if you broke up with them?

Jeff

Instant regret on your part. He will fly off the handle, almost in shock and in total disbelief that you would actually break up with him.

Will actually be in a state of denial, constantly repeating what you had said to him.

“You’re breaking up with me?! Is this some kind of joke?”

He will try almost anything to get you to rethink and take him back before you even have the chance to leave the room. Master of manipulation, will turn on the manipulative waterworks, and if that doesn’t work? Rage, anger and insults.

“You’re a fuckin’ bitch. You really think I’m going to let you walk out of here?”

After his little tantrum, he will act as nonchalant as ever. Trying to act like it doesn’t bother him when really he’s dying inside. Feels like his stomach is twisting itself into knots thinking about having to live without you.

“So you’re leaving me? That’s it? Oh, little rabbit, do you really think that’s a good idea?”

If he thinks it’s really getting serious, like he’ll never see you again, he will find it hard to control himself; crying, snotting and punching walls.

“Don’t go, come on, please! Why? Because I fuckin’ love you, okay?!”

After the break up he tries to keep his distance, but somehow always finds himself places where you’d frequent. If he sees another guy sniffing round you? He’ll go out and buy himself some beer and get drunk, follow him home and butcher him.

“If I can’t have you, little rabbit, I’ll make sure no-one can.”

Ben

You broke up with Ben? You shouldn’t have done that…

After the initial ‘talk’, all hell breaks loose. We all know he’s a whiny, needy guy. Begging, crying, cursing and even coercion. Once Ben has his hooks in you, he’ll never let go.

“Wait, you’re.. serious? Why?!”

Another manipulative bastard, although some of it is genuine. He loves you, you’re the only girl that he has, and he’ll do anything to make sure it stays that way.

“No, no, no. Wait. Come on. Is this because of what I said earlier? Is it because I’m always playing games? I swear I’ll change!”

Is the kind of guy that will try to hug and kiss you and compliment you to try and weedle his way out of it.

If you actually go through with the breakup? Don’t be surprised if you constantly feel like you’re being watched. Weird phone pop ups, unusual glitches on the TV, texts from an unknown number saying things like “I miss you” and “Who was that guy I saw you with today?”

If he feels like he’s really losing you, the threats start. Sending you pictures of yourself nude, pictures he took when you both were having sex.

“You want me to send these to everyone? Is this what you wanted?”

Toby

Surprisingly calm. Devastated, but calm.

Has a look on his face like he’s just been stabbed in the heart. Red, teary eyes and a look of… knowing?

“I-I knew this was gonna happen. Was just a ma-ma-matter of time..”

Master guilt-tripper. Puppy-dog eyes final boss. Always had a feeling you were too good for him and he knew it. Tries to convince you in anyway he can to stay with him.

“What do you want me to do? I-I can change, I’ll do anything for you.”

Finding it hard to keep a lid on his emotions, cracking his neck and knuckles like crazy, choking on every word. Knows that you were the one for him, and the thought of you with another guy doing the things you two did together makes him feel sick. Enraged, even.

“Nobody’ll love you as much a-as I do. You’re fuckin’ ki-ki-Fuck!-Killin’ me here!”

After the break up he’ll stalk from afar, never really giving up hope. Leaving flowers he’d picked on your front step, all-too-familiar handprints appearing on your bedroom window, even messages written out in.. blood? On your driveway.

Honestly I just see him as the guy who played him in Marble Hornets. Gives major lumberjack/hunter vibe. Has big sideburns, stubble and scarred hands. Always has leather gloves on and stinks of cigarettes.

Has them scary piercing blue eyes with the BLACKEST lashes ever. Always has cuts or scabs on his knuckles from punching shit, and the most unruly, thickest black hair that’s always in knots.

Okay so my opinions might be a little controversial but I don’t picture Ben as American. In my little fantasy world he’s a greasy, smelly English neek who’s physically attractive. Makes misogynistic jokes and plays FIFA while he has one hand down the front of his trousers.

Toby

This but with scratchy stubble as well, smokes cigarettes and never washes his clothes. Probably has facial piercings as well. Also his hatchets are probably dull as well because he can’t be arsed to sharpen them. Always complains about having a sore neck and jaw because of his Tourette’s tics.
