Growing up I was always provided for financially. My father is a millionaire. I got everything I wanted.
When my parents got divorced and into a custody battle, everything changed. The financial comfortability I had easily accessible to be was not so easily accessible anymore. I watched my mom slowly get more and more frugal. My father (still rich) does not help unless we take him to court. This is something I have struggled with my entire adulthood. He is abusive, and a narcissist.
When I discovered findom, i was 20. At first, it was an easy way to make $20 here and there. Soon, it evolved into a passion and a kink. Only then was when the real money started coming in.
I write this to explain the impact it has had on me. Findom has forever changed my life.
