Inactive, mostly.

If you’ve ever had a cat, you can imagine how this unfolds for the prefect. I know he’s a monster-something aside from his current form, but since he canonically has zoomies and scratches people and sofa’s like a real cat, I strongly believe he has many other kitty habits that the prefect’s inevitably going to bend to.

Little disclaimers: I am a very new game-only fan, this is purely for fun, English is NOT my first language. I don’t even know if anyone’s going to see this, but I do not care. This is just what my brain has been busy with in the last couple of days.

CW: like one mention of scratches.

Anyway, here’s a few instances I thought of while observing my own tiny vicious creatures:

The small glass of fresh water that sits on the bedside table. The prefect has to periodically change the water so it can be good for a midnight drink. If they dare to forget, Grim will be following them around the dorm and be annoying as hell until they refill it out of pure exasperation. They also randomly wake up in the middle of the night to soft little licking sounds, look to their right and see the big bum drinking as if his life depended on it. It lasts about 5 whole minutes. Then he curls up to Yuu again and sleeps it off.

He gets all pissy if the prefect mentions it to the others tho. Lmao.

On occasion, Grim fixates on the small, perky details of your shoes or clothes. Let’s take laces of a pair of shoes: The prefect gets ready and all to head to school, stepping into the entrance to change their slippers into something more serious, only to find the Great Grim holding one end in his chonky grey front paws and chewing on it, belly up, kicking the air with his back ones.

Pink stinky toe beans out. No shame whatsoever. Absolutely disgusting and shameful behavior.

If the almighty prefect ever dares to try and clip his nails, the meows and wails are gonna reach EVERYWHERE. Expect to have someone question what is going on at Ramshackle, only for their suspicions to fall once they see the disheveled state the prefect is in, scratches all over. Grim doesn’t do it on purpose, he’s just hella dramatic. Do not expect an apology from him. You’ve wounded him greatly and vengeance is served cold, sleep with one eye open.

You could buy one of those bag things you hang up and have Grim’s paws out only if you want to really piss him off and hear his creative insults.

Last but not least, zoomies. Like I said before, he canonically does that. So it’s no surprise if the prefect gets abruptly woken up in the middle of the night with the sound of glass shattering because the gremlin has knocked it down while running and shards are all over the floor.

Bonus: All the sofas in Ramshackle have at least one corner that’s just… ruined. They all have little threads sticking out and clearly became scratchers for the little guy.
