Bloq Questions
What's this blog for?
This is our coining blog! We submit all sorts of identities, such as genders, sexualities, pronouns, kin/theriotypes, alders, ficto-belief, etc.
We also submit other types of flags, for example, boundary flags, awareness flags, and so forth.
We just work with a lot of different types of things here in general.
Is there anything you don't submit?
Radqueer, transID, & MAP. Keep that stuff away from me.
Our only exception is Transspecies flags, as they're used by members of the alterhuman community and have been heavily bastardised by the radqueer community. We're attempting to reclaim the label and will block any radqueer accounts that try to repost our flags.
Reclaiming? Is there anything else you've reclaimed?
We're also working to reclaim Xenoids/Xeniden. Many members of the xenogender community have started to reclaim said identities. Said posts will be flagged as pro-xenogender to avoid misconceptions.
For those who don't know, Xenoids started as an anti-xenogender form of identification. The community started to reclaim via Xenidens, as they're helpful for people who feel as if something affects their entire identity, not just gender.
This <insert> was already coined by someone else!
That's what we call an alternate flag.
Check the date of the original post. Was it posted before or after ours? If it was posted before ours, send us the link! We'll update our version to say | Alternate Flag and link the title to the original coining. If it was posted after ours, then in that circumstance I'm sorry to inform you that they most likely reposted without linking to the source, or they might just not have found our post due to the Algorithmâ„¢ and coined it thinking it didn't already exist. It happens sometimes! Including to us.
You coined an art/image identity but didn't credit the artist!
Check the last tag!
Click the title link!
Check the description!
Check the identity name!
We typically link the title to the original posting of the art, tag the artist, mention them in the description of the gender, and include them in the identity name (e.g. [descriptor][artist]gender). If we somehow failed to do all four, let us know and we'll edit the post!
Am I allowed to use a miscecanis term without being part of the community?
If it's coined by us, yes! We coin our misce terms with alterhumans in mind. You don't have to be alterhuman to use these terms either!
With other coiners, you might have to check their FAQ or ask them, as it really depends on a coiner. If they don't allow you to use their flag, a reminder that you're allowed to make your own flag that's open to everyone or request that we make one!
One last note, the misce community was not created to be sexual when originally coined. We do not support sexualizing the community, or any community. If you engage with the misce community in a sexual way, I won't stop you from using our terms, but we don't necessarily endorse you. Rule of thumb? Identity, not kink!
What's a Ficto-Religion?
Link.
Generally, I prefer the term neomythic as of a situation that occurred with the coiner misrepresenting/making little attempt to research the already marginalised beliefs of pop culture pagans, despite individuals reaching out. It was resolved, but it left me with a bad taste, not to mention the implications of the word religion leads to me having to provide the following notice:
Ficto-religions ARE NOT cults/fults. If your account partakes in either of those activities, you WILL be blocked.
I do, however, take requests for ficto-religion flags regardless.
What's the problem with Starseed?
In brief, it has nazi origins and was essentially a term used to refer to those with psychological disorders such as ASD, ADHD, etc... calling them the ones "chosen" to defeat the "lizard people" (Jews). If that doesn't already ring alarm bells, you can easily look up a more in-depth article on the issue, and there are plenty of excellent essays on the issue here on Tumblr.
You're not at fault for using the term, but I do want people to be aware of the implications of the word before using it themselves, as it often floats around witchcraft and alterhuman spaces.
Can I add XYZ to [insert wiki]?
Go ahead! You're also free to repost. I don't demand credit either.
Misc Questions
I've seen you use the term 'Faen'; What does that mean?
Faen is a recently (past four years) revitalized term for peri and their descendants across other cultures. Peri is the arabic spirit that led to the legends of fairies, faeries, pixies, sprites, seelie, unseelie, etc. Faen was first used in 2005 to address faefolk in Arcana Evolved.
We use it to generally address such beings, and will specify when we're talking about a specific being.
How do you make your flags?
For pronouns, I search up their quote "recommended gender pairing" unquote (i.e. star/stars/starself and stargender) and create a color palette. Then I make the stripes with Lunapic. We might add an icon or change up the colors a bit more using an art tool. As for decorative icons, we either draw them ourselves or pick an image from Creative Commons (generic files anyone can use).
For other identities, we'll look up an image or flag related to the theme and make a color palette. Depending on what it is, we might use the same process as before or use one of these Creative Commons templates. Normally, we'll use the wide-spread accepted symbol for the identity, and if it seems suiting, we might add some creative flare.
<Name> interacted despite them being a DNI!
Tell me who they are and I'll block them. Most likely? I missed them. Either way, DNI means I won't interact. If they touch my flags, I can condemn them for it, but I can't exactly stop them. Flags are normally under a CC 3.0 License, meaning they can use them however, unfortunately.
I've seen that you're plural. Is this blog endo-friendly?
Yes! I am diagnosed with DID, and personally support all system origins. If people have a problem with that, they are free not to interact. Sysmedicalism is outdated and based on damaging therapeutic practices, and many of the medical professionals I've worked with believe endogenic systems are scientifically possible.

Relevant Reddit post that features various scientific sources in the comments.
The only psychologist I've met who didn't support endogenic systems believed all systems were impossible and would diagnose maladaptive daydreaming disorder instead of OSDD and DID.
On the note of sysmed, transmed ("transscum") is also not welcome here. I will not coin any terms that support either of these harmful ideologies.
System terms are free to be requested and coined here.
Hey I'd like to support/commission you, any place to do that?
Hey this is me! If you've been wondering why I haven't made any flags in a while...this is why. I've been trying to get some stability in l
We'll update this as questions are asked and things are coined!
