I've picked it cause I've seen so many bright people blank out be 'no one', and that is honestly painful to watch. Another reason is that though it is a very common disease, it isn't getting enough funding or awareness that it should, compared to other ailments. As per alz.org: Worldwide, at least 44 million people are living with dementiaโmore than the total population of Canadaโmaking the disease a global health crisis that must be addressed. As per Statistics Canada, almost half the people in old age homes have some kind of dementia.
