Shame.

Shame I felt after dragging unrelated people into a situation that was completely my responsibility, my consequence to deal with.

Shame I felt after seeing how the chain of events continues and drags others into it, as if I bring unfortune everywhere I go.

“It will be your fault”

Maybe it already is.

The people who have trust in me end up losing things valuable to them.

Permafrost.

You lost the one thing people seem to value the most surrounded by snow. Ironic, isn’t it?

I’ve been thinking about gem placements for quite some time

And how it could be symbolic in a way. In my mind gems can be both held and also be a part of the vessel, in the second case:

Mugm and Wyll have their gems on their chest, close to the heart. Manifestation referred to gems as “cores”, so for them both the gems really are their cores.

Calebbb who originally had two “cores” has them on both of his arms.

Nemvevo has his gem on his chest because it’s sentimental to him, the only place where it’s reasonable to have something this important to you is the closest to your “soul”

Nezoshoki has his gem on his hand. He always ends up putting himself in unpleasant situations. He grasps to opportunities, such as brotherhood, to make up for his weakness. He holds onto things.

Puqi has his gem on his forehead, although the title doesn’t fit him at all, he called himself the brain of the brotherhood.

The gem on the stomach for bingey just felt right. I can’t explain this one.

I haven’t finished drawing silvas and qs design references, so I don’t have similar pictures with them, but I thought that

Silvas gem would be on his throat, part of the reason he wears a scarf. It just feels right too, I can’t explain those feelings through text at all, but they feel like something sharp is in your throat, all because of anxiety and panic.
