❥ notices right off the bat, i feel like he also has this persistent anxiousness so he can kind of tell when you’re stressed or upset.
❥ he’s quick to sit beside you and shield you away from everyone just in case you don’t want to draw attention to yourself. also speaks very quietly, hand on your shoulder if you’re okay with physical touch in that moment.
❥ “hey, can you look at me, please?” “i want to help, can i help? is that okay?” “what’s bothering you? it's okay if you don’t want to talk, just nod your head."
❥ if you’re okay with physical touch, he’s petting your shoulder, holdning and squeezing your hands all gently with his warm ones. he looks like a kicked puppy the way he’s staring at you with such deep concern. it makes your heart ache.
❥ hates seeing you this stressed cos you’re never really like this near him.
❥ when you tell him everything he makes sure to do all of the things you like, silly faces, stories, whatever it may be. anything to get you to laugh or even smile the slightest bit.
❥ he cups your face all gentle. you look visible stressed, eyebrows knitted together, your gaze unfocused like you’re lost in thought. his gentle touch brings you back to the present, and your eyes meet his concerned ones.
❥ “what’s bothering you, love?” “was it me? was it something i said or did?” “no? do you want a hug?” “let’s get you some water, huh, baby?” “what’s troubling you, hm? you wanna tell me? it’s okay if you don’t, sweetie, i’ll take care of you, regardless.”

❥ he’s getting you to drink water, he ties your hair up and everything. he’s so freaking worried about his love:(
❥ his hands are shaking as he’s smoothing down your hair, cupping your face, watching your expressions carefully. when you talk to him about whatever’s bothering you, he fucking looks at you with watery eyes, feeling guilty that he can’t do much. although if he could, he take your stress and give it to himself tenfold.
❥ he wouldn’t notice right away, let’s be real, he’s probably clueless as shit when it comes to this stuff but he’ll try his best.
❥ it takes some more prominent signs for him to notice what’s up. like if you withdraw or if you talk a little less than usual. he’ll start to put together pieces. especially if he asks if you’re okay and you say “yeah, just tired.” he’ll scoff in your face.
❥ “fuckin’ tired my ass. look at you,” “you really thought that sorry ass excuse was gonna cut it?” "jesus, you’re fuckin’ bouncin’ your leg n’ shit. you’re not fucking okay.” “tell me what’s wrong. better yet, write it down for me,”
❥ he’s kinda pissed you won’t tell him the trust, and that you used some stupid excuse to get out of telling him or talking about it.
❥ he makes you sit down and put down whatever you’re doing. he’s engaging in full eye contact so that you don’t have any excuses to think of, and so that you can’t avert your gaze.
❥ he’s better at figuring out what’s wrong while you’re in a realtionship since you tend to be more closer with him and your habits are repetitive and easy for him to gauge something’s off. not only that but you’d be able to tell him anything at any time because he’s easygoing as shit. he doesn’t have to be in a good or bad mood. you just tell him.
❥ so this time he’ll notice you’re a bit less verbal, and you haven’t told him something.
❥ “hey toots, what’s been botherin’ you?” “you trying to tell me somethin’? you mad at me?” “oh fuck baby, don’t look like that. you’re makin’ my heart all achy inside.” “you need to start telling me things, i wanna help, babe.”
❥ he has you sit at the couch, pushing you gently against the cushions. he acts like you’re made of glass....or hungover. he brings you whatever he can reach the easiest in the fridge, not if it’s alcohol. he’ll hold the glass to your mouth, having you drink it slowly, "easy, toots, eaaasssyy."
❥ he’ll bring a note pad and some tacky pen and tap it gently, prompting you to either write or speak. he’s rather impatient when it comes to these things, but not to the point where he's upset with you or mad. he just wants to get to the bottom of it as soon as possible so he can help his poor baby.
❥ he can easily tell that you’re stressed. very easily. and he’ll study you in silence. you notice that he’s always trying to fucking gauge your emotions, watching your body language so intensely.
❥ he knows you’re stressed, and he waits a bit for you to tell him, but if or when you won’t, he’ll confront it. if you’re near people, he’ll take you somewhere quiet and have you take to him.
❥ eye contact is key for him during communication, he needs to maintain eye contact.
❥ “you’re upset. i can tell. you don’t hide it well.” “why don’t we sit down and you tell me what’s bothering you?” “hey don’t look at that, look at me.” “i can’t be of much help to you if you’re not speaking to me, hm?”
❥ very set on trying to get you to talk, but obviously doesn’t want to push your boundaries. he’ll give up the verbal confession, and negotiatiates with you that ends up in you *pinky* promising to text him later.
❥ watched you, tries to wait it out and let you tell him, but gets impatient.
❥ he’s freaking the fuck out! why is his baby so stressed? what caused it? who caused it? how can he fix it?
❥ brings up ALL your favorite things. he tries to get you to smile, plays your favorite movie, reads you a book, gets you your favorite stuffie, EVERYTHING, he’s fucking panicking inside. he races up and down the stairs, bringing you things when it doesn’t seem like you’re pleased.
❥ “you feeling sick, sweetpea? is that it?" "here, look, i brought you [plushy name]!” “why’s my poor baby so upset, hmm? what’s gotten my sweet girl/boy/person so frowny?” "is it a bellyache? are you sick, my lovey?” “do you feel comfortable talking to me about whatever it is?”
❥ exhausts and stresses the fuck out of himself trying to help you. when you finally tell him, if possible he assists you with whatever it is or does it for you, or tries his best to comfort you through it and be by your side.
