THIS ALSO ALLOWS ME TO ACTUALLY GET A GOOD ESTIMATE FOR ROBERT'S HEIGHT!!! I was using screenshots in-game and a height comparison website to figure out his height, but it was kinda scuffed because it was hard to get a good screenshot that displayed the height difference between Robert and any character with a confirmed height.

ANYWAY, ALL THIS TO SAY: I can now confirm that Robert is, in fact, about 5' 9" (using Flambae's height as a reference), give or take half an inch!!!

Is it weird I kinda see him Romancing Shane a little? Like he sees this guy who’s got problems, drinks and has that cliff side scene and he gets determined to help Shane get better cause Shane WANTS to get better.

But I also see him romancing Sebastian cause hello. Everyone does.

Maybe Penny? He feels really bad for her and wants to live in a place where she’s happy, but then he feels guilty for Vincent and Jas cause when he does marry Penny her schedule changes.

so i have some thoughts on herm's relationship with invisigal in the "dating since they were teens" watermech au.

i think that their relationship even in canon is a bit complicated because... both robert and chase (in a way) are dear to him, but visi ended up hurting both of them. so herm needed time to think about it and decide on his opinion on her.

however in the "dating since the were teens" watermech au... it's so much more tragic and hard for herm. chase and robert are SO dear and important to him. he loves them so much and he can't forgive her for hurting both of them (because eventually he finds out about visi being the one to blow the mecha suit and that she was kind of a traitor), and while he knows robert will give her another chance, herm can't do the same. he's MAD, angry at her. his anger usually comes out as tears and sadness about it, but he's just so mad at her. he knows she kind of had to do it but it doesn't change much for him. she BLEW UP his BOYFRIEND and then almost KILLED his BROTHER IN LAW who was always there for both him and robert. he can't forgive her.

but then during the shroud fight, she wanted to take the bullet for robert. but herm was quicker, and even then she took care of him and stopped the bleeding.

she came up to herm while they were getting him in the ambulance and... she said she was sorry. for everything she did, she's so, so sorry. herm says that he can't forgive her right now. he wants to see her do better, really, and he's so thankful for what she did, but he still needs time.

courtney says she gets it. she's... thankful that herm is at least giving her a chance to earn his forgiveness.

they end up having a more friendlier relationship. she visited him in the hospital, gossiped with him about work, brought him gifts when he recovered. it's still... hard for herm to consider her an actual friend, but he sees her trying. he knows she's doing her best right now. and he's proud of her, in a way.

Robert LOVES when Waterboy has a pout. And it’s not even intentional most of the time it but..happens.

They go to a spot where they get frozen desserts together and they ran out of Herm’s melon sorbet he likes. So he pouts slightly for a moment before asking for something else.

Sometimes Robert will tease Waterboy by flirting and Waterboy gets flustered and pouts cause Robert is being MEAN to him! He’s gonna make a huge puddle and EVERYONE will know he’s feeling a lot. Robert can’t help but kiss that pout away.

When Robert is edging Waterboy one night, Waterboy pouts a lot. He wants to come so bad but he can’t. Robert won’t let him. And Robert knows Waterboy enjoys edging more than he does, so this is torturous pleasure for his sweet boy. And every time Robert stops, Waterboy gets this teary eyed pout cause he was so close!

Robert just smiles and says an apology he doesn’t mean, cause he’s about to do it again.

Would Waterboy's water be cold or would it have the same temperature as his body heat..?

So I have a weird…hc with how his water works?

The stuff that pours out of his skin or his mouth is cool (not cold per se). I hc the water he sprays comes from a separate section of his stomach that is walled off of most of the stomach. That part has a gland or something that constantly produces water and it connects to his esophagus just like “the food tubes” does. That water is cold but as it goes through the body, it comes out as cool. How the water comes out of his skin idk.

But I hc some other weird stuff. Like..for example..his mouth is warm…

I know it doesn’t make any sense at all, but this is how I hc this 😅

Wb but he keeps forgetting peoples birthdays and cries

Scarily enough I was thinking about this two days ago. So I Hc that Herm has quite a large family. He has 20 cousins, 6 biological aunts and uncles, their spouses and and a grandma. He has 33 birthdays to remember just on his dad's side because if he DOESN'T at least TEXT or CALL to wish them a happy birthday, all those aunts, uncles and cousins give him so much SHIT for it. Now, he remembers birthdays more easily for those he cares about the most, and if he does forget, its usually a day early, or a day late. It's not..the worst but he feels AWFUL. He certainly remembers his grandma's birthday. Once he joins SDN, he remembers Robert's birthday ONCE Robert actually tells them, cause he keeps it a secret for a bit. Prism makes a big deal of her birthday so Herm DOES remember it on time. Flambae also has an easier birthday to remember, but Flambae messes with Herm ONCE about forgetting his birthday. Herm wishes him a happy birthday a day early, but instead of going "It's tomorrow" he goes "Yeah. A day fucking late." And Herm freezes with the saddest little "What?" And then Herm starts tearing up and he cries and he starts apologize. He says he has to remember so many birthdays but it's no excuse for forgetting one of his friend's birthdays. And Flambae just watches and Sonar is like "Dude...tell him the truth." And Flambae sighs but he says Herm's all good. He was just joking. Herm is actually a day EARLY. And Herm sniffles and goes "R-Really? So I-I didn't miss it?" and Flambae nods. And Herm is so happy he didn't miss Flambae's birthday that he completely ignores the fact Flambae was messing with him. Heck, Herm even cries when he forgets Visi's birthday, and he and Visi have a bit of an...interesting relationship. They're kinda like..siblings who don't EXACTLY get along? Anyways Visi asks Herm if he's coming with them to drink that night. Its on a weekday instead of Friday/Weekend so Herm is thinking 'Oh thats..weird' but he smiles and asks what the occasion. Visi blinks and goes "My birthday?". Herm freezes before he starts tearing up and crying again and Visi is like ??? as Herm is apologizing for forgetting. He didn't even bring her present to work today! And Visi says "Calm the fuck down. You're making me anxious. It's not that big of a d-" "I-It IS a BIG D-DEAL! You're my F-FRIEND and I FORGOT!" Visi is surprised cause no one has cared THAT much about her birthday before. Shit.

Meanwhile if Herm forgot Robert’s birthday he’s DEVASTATED. He should know this and he forgot Robert’s birthday. Robert’s used to it but Herm insists he deserves to celebrate dammit.

Herm thinks he’s the worst friend ever and Robert should leave him on the side of the road to let a pack of rabid coyotes eat him alive. He deserves it.

The chocolate guy (amaury guichon) actually did a reality confectioner competition on netflix a few years back. It's called School of Chocolate

I did see the show but I didn’t watch it!

What I was meaning is I want like, regular chefs or home cooks ATTEMPT to do what he does and experience the anguish that is the chocolate guy (Amaury Guichon). Like I need him to dunk on them so hard they WEEP

With how long he is and how long his legs and arms are it makes his torso look…smaller in a sense??

but yeah, his body does look weird. his knees look so... low??? like? his torso also looks much smaller because of his height. he's also so like... rectangle looking. and god his hands look huge. everything about him seems so big and it makes his torso look MUCH smaller and shorter. he's a little weird. so cute though. his face is adorable.
