Hi I’m making a post here just to set some ask boundaries thank you! And I will not answer asks that make me uncomfortable.

I do my best to add tags in posts the best I can. I know I’m not perfect but I do my best.

I may mention Sui ideation in some asks as a tag and I will always try tag this too. If this upsets or triggers you, I apologize.

I also will have some suggestive things in there but I will do my best to tag them if they get explicit. I do welcome suggestive asks.

Depending on Flambae's prior relationships (if they were ever this serious), I imagine him going all out

Ooooh shiiiit honestly…this is such an interesting thought.

I CAN imagine him wanting to go all out. He wants Waterboy to have the best time, especially since they’re together. He wants Waterboy to have an AWESOME birthday and have everything he deserves. Flambae has NEVER felt this before with ANYONE. And he’s never had a partner that would absolutely do the same for him, as in stop at nothing to make their birthday special. So it’s pressure but Flambae isn’t a quitter. And he isn’t intimidated (lie he’s very intimidated).

But..

I also can see Waterboy not liking big, grand gestures. That surprise party with his first birthday with the Z team was a big grand gesture (for him) but it was a good one. And a bit overwhelming. But he was happy. He since then though, still doesn’t do big grand things.

So

My thought is how Flambae does this, is something similar to himself. When Flambae has birthdays, he has three parties or events. He has one with his sister and niece, one with the rest of the team, and one with Prism where they just go nuts. So I think he’s offer something similar. And these don’t have to be on the same day.

And I can see Waterboy somewhat liking that, because he’s not stressing out about fitting all these people he cares about spending time with him in ONE day, especially if they have work.

So they have a day where Waterboy and Flambae will spend time together and maybe have a lunch at his grandma’s house. It’s a “family” kind of birthday celebration. Lunch is usually something small and good and Waterboy is just happy to see his grandma. She even knitted something for him! When they go home in the evening, Flambae makes Waterboy sit his ass down cause HE’S cooking tonight (since they both like cooking they’ll cook together too). And Flambae makes a REALLY good meal, dessert included, that adheres to the rules of Waterboy’s somewhat tricky diet. After dinner is also when Flambae will give Waterboy his present (presents flambae isn’t stopping at one. You think he’s gonna do that? Everyone else is giving Waterboy presents. The more he gives the higher chance HIS is the best!).

Another day will be with the Z team + Robert and Mandy. They go do something fun together but it’s something Waterboy chooses. Something he WANTS. If he wants to see a movie and have dinner, that’s what they’re doing. If he wants to go to the aquarium, they’re going to the aquarium. Heck if there’s some nerd event going on (a con, a massive magic the gathering tournament or some collectors event (figurines, cards, rare merch etc) they will go.

And then they have a day where it’s just Flambae, Waterboy and Prism. Why? Cause Prism unlocked a party animal in Waterboy. Waterboy is..uuusuaally the voice of reason and trying to take care of them, but then also he and Prism go OFF and Flambae is trying to keep up and HE has to be the responsible adult. Prism just somehow made Waterboy a party animal. They’ll go to clubs, raves, concerts, whatever. The two of them are PARTYING. And as endearing as Flambae finds it, he also is kinda sick of losing them. But for Waterboy’s birthday, he will let them go crazy. Prism is just happy to be spending time with her boys.

I think it would be cute, they go out to eat or drink just talking and asking questions about one others body's studying and being nerds together

Honeslty, I think Sonar would be weirded out just a little at first. Yeah he’s got bat stuff but he’s also..human. In a sense that is. Everyone also focuses on the bat stuff. He’s like “Yeah I screech and eat mice but I still drink coffee, do crack and flip people off when they are assholes to me.”

Sonar is just..weary about the bat questions. It’s kind of invasive for him.

So Waterboy apologizes, saying he didn’t mean to. He just..was wondering. But he understands the invasive nature of questions so he’ll try not to ask them anymore. He..also gets treated like a freak show at the circus because of his water. People forget he’s a human too.

And Sonar is surprised and he asks how so? Waterboy talks about his stomach and his lungs and Sonar is ALSO fascinated. Waterboy apologizes again, but Sonar says he actually doesn’t mind Waterboy asking questions anymore. However, for every question Waterboy asks, he gets to ask one too. They both have strange anatomy after all.

Waterboy grins and agrees.

And it’s not just stuff about body either. Waterboy asks about bat behavior or even the personal preference of fruit (he wonders if Sonar likes fruit like fruit bats do). Sonar asks about a bunch of like, fish topics and Waterboy explains he doesn’t have animal qualities but he understands why people are confused. No he’s just..weird.

I feel like it would be a whole thing

So funny enough, I have some headcanons about this.

I hc when Waterboy was born, he almost drowned himself at his first cry. That’s the first time water came out of his mouth. His parents were worried sick as he was rushed to the NICU.

Ever since then he’d have regular doctors and hospital visits even after his parents died.

He’s got some WEIRD anatomy. His stomach is divided into two sections. One section is doing normal stomach stuff. The other has a gland in it that is constantly producing water and that somehow gets out to the skin (don’t ask me how idk I’m not a scientist) and it connects to the esophagus so he’s able to spray it out.

They also discover that his stomach has to be pumped/detoxed if soap gets in it. He’s got a VERY sensitive stomach and digestive system. He’s got rather interesting yet concerning regenerative abilities (they found that out when he got his first shots. The skin healed around the shot and freaked the doctors and parents out even more) and oh yeah! Despite almost drowning, his lungs can now let him BREATHE underwater.

And no, he doesn’t have any animal traits.

It’s also surprising that his skin, hair and nails aren’t effected by the water. They’ve adapted too.

Waterboy’s body is adapted to his powers.

They have deep talks about it,

Okay I CAN see this happening a bit? But also like, Waterboy would be so embarrassed about them talking about his powers like that. Mind you, they’ve definitely talked about each other’s powers in a sexual sense too. So like, Waterboy isn’t…as upset as he could he but he’s VERY embarrassed. The Z team are VERY open with each other and he’s..more private. He’s literally the most private person cause at the very least Robert will joke back (without revealing anything). He’s just there..awkwardly.

I can imagine the group talking about Waterboy’s powers when he’s not around trying to figure out some things. Someone suggests self lubrication. Flambaé IMMEDIATELY shuts that down cause that’s not lube! It’s not good enough! That’s a way to get your ass and dick hurt and raw!

Sonar’s like “okay but what if he made it thick? Like..thick water?”

Malevola asks “Can he even do that?”

Robert walks in and asks “what are you chucklefucks talking about this time?”

Phen accidentally spills the beans cause he didn’t even know they didn’t want him to say anything. Robert looks so done.

He sighs and says they probably should stop. If Waterboy hears about it, he might be mortified.

“H-Hear about what?”

Yeah uh…oops.

Sonar asks if he can make thick water and Waterboy is like “N-No? Why?”

Visi just says “Free Lube. Shit’s getting expensive.”

Waterboy is bright red and he says he’s not making ANYONE lube if that’s what they’re asking, even if he DID know how to do that.
