what kind of black magic

I share bits and pieces of my life via social media. I share small excerpts from my story but that is nothing in comparison to how long it has taken me to arrive and settle into a place of peace. the goal in sharing my story and posting photos of my love + child is to inspire, uplift + encourage. there’s was a point in time that I was miserable, mean and unhappy. I was so angry about life. depression consumed me and so did thoughts of suicide. it was ‘everyone else’s fault’ that I was unhappy + hurting… at least that’s what I convinced myself. at that point I wasn’t ready to take control of my life or joy. never did I think I would end up here, out of my darkness. it took years of therapy. years of learning and relearning how to love myself and others. so when you see the snippets of happiness in my life through my social media, please know that it was earned. it was a struggle to get here. I am living proof that you can come out of the dark places, you can emerge and be happy, you can grow and find love. every single day I heal from my past. I’m a work in progress and all I want to do is inspire people, women in particular, to be resilient and to be gentle and patient on their journey.

That time with Dbanj and Wizkid lol. I ended up at very random beach party in the typical way I usually find myself in places I don’t belong; a friend brought me. Honestly, the promise was that we were going to see Amber Rose during her Naija visit but it was a TRAP! A damn lure to get us Amber-lovers to some random beach house filled with older men and flashy women behind sun-glasses.- Yagazie
