unless i got my trivia very wrong there's pretty much no way a 6yo girl can go on pointe in ballet, because the bones of a 6yo (esp in the feet) would be too soft to handle the stress of pointe work, and obviously most 6yo's wouldn't have the technique to be on pointe properly yet. which honestly makes every fanart of alexa ever with her in pointe shoes even more genius because it ends up as a commentary on how alexa is forced to grow up too quickly and pushed into the affairs of adults that she's not equipped to understand, much less handle, to the point it becomes damaging to her health and wellbeing
