It’s been a while since the last time I visited this page of mine.  It’s almost time of the year honoring fathers and celebrating their impact in our lives.

My tatay passed away in 2017 but the pain of missing him still the same.

Allow me to remember him though this short piece…

 On Education-

Mag aral kayo mabuti saka paka bait kayo, nanay ninyo tinitiis malayo sa atin.

Mag aral kayo mabuti para mapuntahan ninyo lahat ng gusto ninyo and magawa ninyo lahat ng gusto ninyo.

 On Sibling Relationship-

Tatay, inaaway ako ni RonRon.

magmahalan kayo, dalawa lang kayo. Kayo lang ang kakampi ng isat isa.

 On defending yourself-

Tatay inaway ako ng kalaro ko.

sana pina flying kick mo.

 On loving your ownself-

Tatay ang taba ko daw.

ok lang yan, importante wala kang sakit.

 On doing things right-

Tatay, tapos na ako maglaba.

Bakit may bula pa? Ayusin mo gawa mo para at the end of the day, para fulfilled ka.

 On selflessness-

Tatay, bakit mo sila bibigyan?  (I remember visiting relatives in Subic, they gave us packs of chocolates and when we got home, he divided the chocolates and share with relatives in Valenzuela.  I never heard from the relatives in Subic to share those chocolates to anyone).

Pag meron ka, learn how to share.  Masama ang madamot.

 On contentment and living a simple life-

Tatay, pasyal tayo. Ano gusto mo?

Wala akong gusto, ay hindi Chowking nalang

 Tatay, magpapa package si Nanay, anong gusto mo?

Wala akong gusto. Basta ok lang kayo.

 Ang dami dami pa tatay, madaming salamat sa lahat. I miss you so much. Growing up with you made my childhood memorable one.  Though we are not rich, you and nanay made us feel that we have everything we need in life.

 Happy Father's Day dyan sa Heaven. Paki greet din kay Papa Jesus.

Dear YH, MH, JH, and JS,

I wasn’t exactly sure how to start. Thinking about doing this made me feel the dampness on my face. My hands starts to perspire. As I started to write here, my heart and mind cannot utter so many words I wanted to write.

I was in the stage of my life where I feel like I can do everything and doesn’t need anyone to fulfill anything. But…deep inside, my invisible soul was really wearied. Until my eyes opened for Shinwu’s character and I started to felt of exerting myself to this sensible world. I started to keep in touch with my bestfriend as often as possible. In where, I started to talk, open and share a part of myself.

When I got over Shinwu’s character, I began to know the real YH and the rest of his group who are trying to make a mark in the music scene and in my life.

Though I am not a hardcore fan, I made sure that I’m doing my small part to support your group. I am reading different blogs, watching your interviews, interpreting your songs lyrics that opened full package of excitement to my journey of real exciting life. I learned not to limit myself in everything. You made me realized that the different choices I made even I like it or not, it will definitely spread and have impact in my life. If I want to experience a beautiful journey, you showed me that I must not stay in one place. I must learn how to enjoy the roller coaster ride and must go beyond it because the more I try different things, the farther I go.

Thank you for showing your humble spirit. In spite of your fame, you are still mindful enough to know your place at a certain time. You all know how and when to share the stage. You might be the simpliest souls out there but the true and unseen elegance always shines and lives in you.

Thank you for always sharing the strong sense of yourselves. You always deal professionally with interviews and shows your strong yet childlike characters. No matter what, you all maintains your composure.

Thank you for all the inspiration that you instill in me. For the music, for showing constant passion in everything you do. The meaning of success you showed me keeps digging a priceless value. The way I view life, a big part comes from you.. I never stop learning in every piece you shared and continously sharing. May you never stop to cheer on each others success for showing your unique individuality yet I wish you will continue to reach the top as one. For every hard work to invest in everything you do, success always comes along. For looking on each other’s back, the word brotherhood seems like the sweetest that binds you together. For every incomparable performance, you made my soul believe in the power of music. For your brilliant minds on how you see and value life, family and friendship, I am always amazed. Being with you all the way, the time and money spent, the sleepness nights watching you over and over cannot be compared with the wisdom I gained.

I know that moment of heading to different ways will come. It’s not soon for sure but it will. For now, I won’t worry about tomorrow. I will enjoy and treasure what you are today. Whatever might happen in the next years, you are my CNBLUE. Whatever path you all might decided to take, with all the passion, love, wisdom you shared and continuously sharing, you all deserves all the best in this world.
