Our originals are Castor (He/It/God) and Pollux (He/It/Txt), though because Castor was host up until we were maybe 17, if we're referring to a sole original, it's likely going to be referring to him! We'll try to colour code text based on alters names!

We are very fictive heavy, but we used codenames/alt names from our primaries just because we think it looks cool and partially protects us! This may change in the future, but because we've been using this system for so long we'll probably stick to it! It's ok if you recognize our sources, but please don't automatically assume we're all exactly like or agree with our sources, their creators, the canons of our sources, etc. Lots of us are canon-divergent in favour of our collectives headcanons!

We prefer to be called a system and alters, though calling us things like a collective, a plural, or headmates are also fine!

A lot of us use typing quirks, but view them as more like accent typing, and will not use them on this blog unless they're easily discernible/readable.

I don't think you need our permission, or anyone's permission or justification for that matter, but if it matters to you why we do this: Being a system has severely impacted our life for the better! Our original was severely isolated and neglected as a child, and while we experienced none of the textbook abuse people imagine when they hear traumatic childhood, it still affected us greatly and caused us to severely retreat into our inner world. Being lonely in your own mind with nobody to push you forward in or out of headspace is a situation we would not wish on our worst enemy, so today we move forward to encourage people to learn safe and healthy ways to get plural!

Hello, I'm Cassius, though I just prefer Cass. It feels odd to admit, but I think I'm based off of a persona our host used to talk to AI chat bots. Don't worry, we no longer use AI for anything, and are firmly against it. Except for headmates based off of fictional AIs, we enjoy those guys.

More about myself, the the oddest thing I've noticed from my source / formation is that I tend to speak in that very thought out manner one would use to speak to a chatbot in more serious roleplays. Often I find myself wanting to italicize actions over text, even in casual conversations.

are there any roles other than gatekeeper that help with switches? or even force them?

i'm not sure! 4 us, our overseer (term coined by us actually i didn't kno that) can help us plan switches and find ppl that can hold front based on situations and whatnot, mayb try that? we don't know any roles 4 alters that can force switches, sry! if any1 knows plz reply or reblog and we'll push it back here so anon can see!

means we've been plural since birth! we consider ourselves multi-origin bc of this, because pollux and castor have been here since day 1, castor being who we consider our primary original because he was the first host, but pollux has almost certainly always been here.

however, we didn't really open pandora's box 2 plurality until we were maybe 15 and castor started curbing our loneliness and neglect by creating imaginary friends, and whup, now we can't even list off every 1 of us from memory XP hense traumawillo also

Although, you may refer to Me as His Majesty, The King in Yellow. I find it amusing when those close to C attempt to guess how long I have been around. I take on various roles in My layer. I enjoy poems, so long as I am the one who has written them. I prefer to type in ciphers, but for the sake of this 'ask game' I must express Myself more simply, I suppose.

Hi, I'm Joseph! I'm the host/original I guess, and recently I've been feeling a lot better about our current situation with plurality since our newer guys +our partner system have been cheering me up a lot! I found out I really like shapeshifting in-sys ever since I tried it, and I don't have a particular favourite form but my most common soma is Battat, a form I take to fill in the Fake-Mike Trio for two other alters, Jongler/Z and Pluey!! And definitely not because I act a little TOO much like him(/silly/hj)!!!

so this might not be something you guys have any experience with, but i'm considering tulpamancy. here's the thing though. my personality has always been kinda all over the place and i've never been able to settle on a set "me" if that makes sense? like i swear i'm going through an identity crisis every other week if that makes sense???

anyway. since i already have so much personality and randomness jam-packed into one body, i've been considering just splitting off my current traits and distributing them out evenly if that makes sense???

i dunno if anyone else has done this, but i just wanted to know your opinion on it and maybe ask for advice :)

that's kinda similar 2 how we function! we suffer from BPD and have extreme mood swings and attitude differences anyways, so we let certain alters take up the mantle of embodying splits and mood swings and personality shifts that fit into their natural personalities and it makes it a lot easier than just letting any one of us become a mess XP

i think its a fair reason 2 try and be plural, one of the reasons we've suggested it *is* 2 curb identity issues and find solidity in oneselves!

I believe I formed around late 2023, when our then host, Beau, had a strong hyper fixation on my source (I'm specifically from rottmnt btw!). We really only took notice of my existence during 2024, but since it was before syscovery our then host and co-host were like "welp, guess I'm a fictionkin of the guy!". Haha, they were not <3

Anyways, actually talking a little about me now. I recently came to the realization I am an extrovert. Now, I know this sounds weird, but I mean it exactly as I said it. Most of us insys are introverts and don't like small talk, and just earlier today I was talking to someone I barely know and suddenly realized mid conversation that I actually felt quite fine and ok, content even. Just like, wow, holy shit I'm an extrovert.

I don't even know what I'm saying- it's very late as I'm writing this, I'm eepy, I'm gonna sleep right after I send it. Good talk. Thanks for anyone who actually read through my rambling

We tried to ask him some questions but the only answer we got was when he came around/formed. All bro did was write down "middle school" in our journal, draw himself a few times, then left.

this one's kinda confusing me cuz idk what exactly u mean by treating them like an object. fictives arent' inherently their source and making that separation is important unless they wanna be attached 2 the point they wanna be considered ur partner or anything. i know we hav fictives of our f/os in the system and there's usually a degree of separation between "f/o" and "the guy in our sys" bcoz they're separate entities.

we're not exactly an interpersonal expert sadly so this is rly the best we've got :(

TYYYY we're gonna do our best to stay back but i'll b honest eventually we might disappear for a month again XP we have crazy adhd. we'll be around 4 as long as possible tho!

One of them is the host, and is the original person before splitting. I like the colour green and history and drawing even tho we have been a bit too busy to do so lately.

Another is Robin, and is from a fanfic where Goro Akechi (persona 5) had a shadow. I love musicals and dancing and the colour gold tho red is up there! We are learning how to do make up better so we can look more pretty!!

The last is Rain. Robin just gave us a codename (he says we should all have one...) but I am a Yu Narukami (persona 4) fictive. Saw a cat recently :) and put all of the new p4re screenshots of me into a folder :)
