Sidney Prescott x Reader Headcanons
Sidney hates horror films with a passion.
Like absolutely despises them and would never watch them on her own. But you're a horror fanatic and she indulges you occasionally.
She peeks at the screen through her fingers and holds onto your arm the whole time, burying her face into your shoulder during all the jump scares. But refuses to admit she's scared.
She absolutely steals your popcorn
She does it when you're not looking and giggles when you notice half your bucket missing 💖
Insists on sharing one large coke instead of two small ones when you go out "because it's cheaper" but really she just likes the whole 'one cup two straws' cliche.
Prefers to watch movies at home rather than go to the theater to see them.
It makes her feel safer 🥺
Watches movies with an unnecessary seriousness. She puts her chin in her hand and leans forward, studying every character.
Definitely watches Pretty in Pink or Sixteen Candles on repeat because the love stories make her feel good (and she most certainly had a thing for Molly Ringwald......)
Sidney stirs a lot at night but tries her hardest not to disturb you. She feels terrible when she wakes you up.
Acts like she hates snuggling/cuddling/any form of long, physical affection, but secretly loves it
She can't go to sleep without you.
She worries too much if she doesn't know where you are. Or even if she does, as long as she can't see you, she's not sleeping.
One time she stayed up until five in the morning because you were at the airport and she was afraid something would go wrong. It's a problem but it's also adorable.
You're the only person she can fall asleep beside.
She can go to bed by herself, but even with people she trusts like Dewey or Gale she rather just stay awake and sleep once they leave.
She has the worst nightmares
You often have to calm her down and reassure her that it was just a dream. It breaks your heart to watch her be so distraught.
She 100% talks in her sleep
The shit she says has you rolling because it's just too unfiltered to be from Sidney "will you settle for a PG-13 relationship" Prescott.
She's a little spoon at heart.
She insists on being big spoon because she likes to be in control at all times, but she never hesitates to curl into the smallest ball of a human and lay on your chest or press her back against you and lean her head backward for you to play with her hair.
She is the best cuddler though. She'll fight you on it so hard but you both know it's true. She wraps her arms around you and settles her face firmly in the crook of your neck. It's refreshing.

Also, she's not a loud snorer per se, she actually sleeps pretty quietly and all you can hear is her breathing.
Every now and then, she'll roll over and you'll just hear one of those big, gasp snores that jump scare you.
Of course, bae reads before bed most nights.
And when you're with her, she reads aloud to you. It's safe and comforting and probably one of the most stable things in both your lives
