Most, if not all, dragons are able to control and master their own element and Yue is no exception. Being a water dragon / sea dragon, she has the ability to master her element of water both in her true dragon form and in her human form. These abilities include:
Water manipulation ( current control, manipulate tides, create waves, shape ect. ) Water manipulation can also be used for offensive purposes too.
Water purification ( for healing )
Most dragons come to learn how to control their element from early ages, at least from the ages of three of four, and as they grow older their power also grows stronger too. However Yue is an exception to this case as she has only recently come to realise what she is capable of. She’s had a very different upbringing than most dragons, as unlike most of her kind, she’s lived her life as a human rather than a dragon. When dragons come to learn about their true abilities, they learn from others -- their own parents or others of their kind -- so without another dragon to teach her, she never had chance to realise what she is truly capable of. So in terms of ability and strength, Yue is far below other dragons of her age range.
Since finding out about her own capabilities, she’s only been able to learn water purification but she is still very far from mastering it -- the best she can do is heal minor abrasions. As for general manipulation of water, she can only do the bare minimum and she is no where near capable of being able to manipulate water of offensive purposes. The furthest she has gotten with water manipulation is creating small whirlpools but only for a few short moments, as well as creating small waves in small bodies of water. Without a proper mentor to teach her, she can only learn from experience and trying to master her element herself.
She may be considered weak but Yue refuses to give up trying to learn everything about herself and her capabilities. She is determined to master her powers as she hopes that, should the day arrive where she meets her true family, she can feel like one of them and feel equal to them and not inferior.
