What are you guys headcanons for the first quarter quell? ⚔️
-Who do you think we're voted in were they criminals or simply disliked?
- who was the victor? And how did they cope afterwards?
- what was the arena like? We know that the second quill was shaped like an eye and the third like a clock so what was the first like
And this is one I'm most curious about how do you think that this quill went down since the other two went off the rails and lots of things went wrong for the capitol do you imagine the same happening in the first quill ( btw it doesn't have to be because of a rebel plot)
I believe the reasons tributes were voted in to The 1st Quarter Quell varied across the districts. Criminals who were discharged or are awaiting sentencing, privileged/disliked children of reaping age, relatives of known rebels or peacekeepers, immigrants, the disabled and proto-careers would have been considered by the districts when voting.
The Victor of The 25th Hunger Games was a 17 year old boy from District 9. He was later convicted of terrorism and publicly executed after The 30th Hunger Games.
The 25th Hunger Games arena was a dilapidated, overgrown replica of Washington DC as a reference to the significance of the voting system implemented for The 1st Quarter Quell. During these games, the arena would periodically flood (With some safe areas) to represent the creation of Panem from North America.
