Gotten separated from his other district 8 members without so much as a chance to make plans to re-congregate somewhere to plan further. And now he was fairly certain both were well and truly dead. And worst yet, he could not seem to contact their spirits for some semblance of company or guidance. And now? Everyone left was an enemy on sight.. Or so he thought. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case. Because he did not plan to die and join his team mates any time soon. And he wouldn't allow his pacifist nature to get in the way any longer. Not after this. Okkk that was the District 8 girl from the 74th Hunger Games, you said
I don’t have many headcanons about her(now that i think about it i don’t have a lot of headcanons in general i should think of some) but I reckon she was about fourteen-fifteen? I don’t remember if the book specified that. I liked her appearance in the movie, and I’ve always liked D8 so it was sad for me when she died </3 I really love the name you came up with her lol it’s related to her district but sounds like an actual name(I’m looking at some of the names in SOTR…) and it suits her!
Katniss thought she was ‘stupid’ for making that fire, which I agree wasn’t the smartest decision on her part. To be fair thinking rationally would be difficult when you’re freezing and terrified. And listen I’m all for defending Careers(you know that already lol) but I really hated the way they killed her especially in the book. Poor girl suffered for minutes before Peeta had to finish her :( I can imagine how traumatic it must have been for both of them..
Overall, she deserved better & I would have loved to know more about her(like 85% of all thg characters)
Just a fun idea for an oc in the hunger games but someone from district 8 named Taylor/Tailor. Thematically the characters all have ties to a bird and there is such a bird called a tailorbird that literally builds its nest sewing spiderwebs to keep it together. Like what better name for someone from district 8 while staying on theme, I know a little on the nose but still fun.

Hello! I love your blog! I have a question, because I have been thinking about the victors villages of the other districts and I want to know how do you think D8's victors village looks like, where it would be on the district etc - much care <3
Hi! I’m actually so excited about this question bc I have thought about this some before!
I’m not sure where exactly it would be in the district geographically but I imagine it is at a decent distance from any of the several factory towns that make up the district. The district is canonically by a river which I imagine is used to power the factories, I imagine the victor’s village is in a row in front of the river so you can look out the window and see the water. The houses themselves I imagine are in the Queen Anne victorian style, all basically the same in structure but a variety of pastel colors: some blue some green some yellow some white maybe pink too.
