When he heard that toast wanted to die [even though it was a one-time thing and might have meant nothing and his brian went obsessive with the idea of toast ending it and was too scared to leave toast alone [very unhealthy]

I also took the plot point out of "you need ghost back so housekeeper doesn't kill us." I hate that trope because I want them to want him back
