George WAS OFFERED a place in an F3 European team after the presentation with Toto. It was Mücke Motorsport based in Berlin (not mentioned here) and he went on a testing with them. But GEORGE REJECTED THEM and OPTED to race for VOLKSWAGEN powered Carlin. He later said in this interview that he felt like he will be able to learn more with VW's British team than Mercedes'. It was spot on because VW finished higher than Mücke ever did (9th highest afaik). He basically took a leap of faith and decided to stay true to his decision.

He later had a test with BMW DTM and placed fastest even amongst professional BMW DTM drivers that BMW immediately offered him a six-figures contract but an ex-BMW employee told Mercedes about George and Mercedes basically came running back while "threatening" and gaslighting a financially vulnerable teenager with remarks like "closing their doors on him" while asking him to drop everything, offering the shittiest gamble ever, and blocking him towards any further contacts with BMW and probably also VW with how he moved from VW to Mercedes' Hitech.

Mind you, the BMW stint is very real and acknowleged by BMW driver, Tom Blomqvist who said that George is faster than the other guys by more than half a second and adapt to the car very fast. George's picture is still in BMW Group's media page btw.

George NEVER BEGGED for Mercedes. He just basically cold emailed Toto just like anyone applying for jobs would. It was in fact Mercedes who CAME TO HIM TWICE and both times are with shitty offers. The second time was even more outrageous.

The difference is, all of them had teams that 100% cared about them and worked for their success while George is always an afterthought for this team. Kimi’s rare problems are fixed instantly, while George’s “mysterious” lack of straightline speed doesn’t get solved race after race and they dare to pretend it doesn’t exist and blame George for weeks until they can’t anymore.

Mercedes have left a driver in a dangerous position because of their incompetence, and all they have managed to do is gaslight that driver and tell him there is no problem. That is not acceptable, they need to be held accountable.

And if we take them at their word, and this is an issue on all Mercedes cars then why the fuck are any of them out there because this could be any of them being put in a dangerous position.

people just praise him and everything he does is breathtaking and only he has a champion mentality. but anytime george does something, people come after him. they hate him so much that it doesn’t matter what he does, he will always get hate. 

his team is screwing him over and putting him down, saying that his performance has something to do with his mental health and completely ignoring the REAL issues.
