Question!!!! Do you have any tips for drawing disturbing/horror art? I absolutely LOVE how you convey a lot of it into the face/colors, and I was wondering if there was anything in particular you used to help!!! <3
THANK U SM!!! Ill try to give some tips but Im not very good at explaining stuff like this so I apologize if it's confusing.
What I personally like to do when im drawing something and want it to come of as disturbing is to draw a big unsettling smile. If you look at for example creepypasta or overall any horror characters, a lot of them will have this big creepy smile, sometiems with teeth showing too. Of course not drawing any mouth works too but if I do skip on drawing the mouth, I always focus on making the eyes appear hollow and really wide, it gives them this dead, empty look that u often see on disturbing characters. Another thing I do is I make the anatomy of the characters appear 'sick', usually what u have to do to achieve that look is to draw the charcater severely underw3ight hah. Making their limbs longer than they would be on a normal person helps too, take Slenderman for example!
