Genderfluid Wendy headcanons!

He's got bracelets to denote his pronouns! Blue means 'he/him,' white means 'she/her,' and black means 'I'm not sure/either or.' They also double as hair ties so they don't get shredded in fights. Of course, he's got spares for when he inevitably needs them.

She came out to Carla during the Edolas arc, when they were on their way to Extalia. She came out to Natsu and the others once the excitement around Lisanna being alive died down a little.

She went by Wendell during the Tenrou arc, just to test it out. By the time Grand Magic Games rolled around, he didn't have a preference between Wendy or Wendell.

The first time Romeo said 'Wendy-nii,' Wendy spent the day with the biggest smile on her face. Even nearly getting swept up in a guild brawl couldn't ruin her mood.

Similarly, he was so pleased at being mistaken for Chelia's boyfriend one time that he didn't notice Chelia realizing she was catching feels. Wendell realized he was too like a day later.

A good chunk of his more masc clothes comes from the guild's Lost and Found. And most of those were Gray's from when he was Wendy's age. Needless to say, they got more use with Wendy than they ever did with Gray.
